For the Chinese members of the DeepOnion community who are having trouble synchronizing their wallets, try these methods suggested by @wendelllee. This might just help you get connected over the TOR Network.

If you are in China mainland and you could not sync your wallet. You can try those two steps.
1. The routing for you VPN should be GLOBAL not OUT CN.
2. Open your wallet, setting-options-network, cancel both two options.
I tried and It's synchronizing now.

If you can read Chinese, you can go to this post and the poster will update the guidance to connect your wallet.

We have to wait first untill the registration get openend again! But maybe deeponion has builded a security in the wallet that if 2 adresses of 1 wallet take part it will kick out both because it looks like only 1 person is getting 2 airdrops?

I would just to be safe, or make one a paper wallet until the distribution has been completed. That way it doesn't look like anything shady.
