Two bad news comes wise-versa and sentiment of market goes down sharply. Now it is good time to buy DO and BTC as BTC touch its 3rd support and can rise any time, so our DO also rise as all altcoins follow BTC due to base currency of crypto.
It's not excatly true that all coins rise with BTC and that's a very dangerous assumption that could cost people a lot of money. Some coins actually seem to be in almost exact countermotion to BTC too, but it's difficult to properly identify which coin follows which pattern. Especially when it's very fresh and there's little data. DO should be on the bottom until the end of the year though, from that point onward the implementation of DeepSend will decide the price movement, especially if DO stays flat until that time comes. In either case, be careful with general statements like "altcoins follow BTC". |

For my opinion the best threshold into POS is 100-200 Deeponions.
Are there any more thoughts?
I keep mine in blocks between 200 and 600. The 600'ish blocks gets more POS rewards. Someone in here, i think perhaps it was themonkii put them in 250 blocks. |

Hey guys, does anyone know what port I need to open in the firewall for staking?
Right now it's showing 11 days and I've been running it unlocked for 4 already with 1k coins.

I opened no port of my firewall and the stake is working. Is your Wallet Synchronise ? Maybe you don't have the good nodes ? Or maybe I'm wrong and you need to open a port, but for me there was no need. I am running it from a business and we have a $5k firewall that keeps us secure = so no upnp. Connections otherwise are good, no issues with wallet sync or node connection. Opened 17570 (from https://github.com/deeponion/deeponion ) Down to 5 days now, lol Will have to keep an eye on it. |

Just to update this - Since I've accumulated more, I too have started doing blocks of 500-as high as 700. I've become a bit more patient, so I just do larger blocks now. I'm of the mind that it all balances out the same at the end of the day. |

it is the member rank. You need a certain activity level to get a higher rank. You require minimum member rank to apply for airdrop here, when your activity reach above 60, you automatically achieve member level and then you are eligible to apply for airdrop. In the mean time, you join our community site https://deeponion.org/ and active there. |

Can you influence your staking rewards other than increasing your number of onions? |
