Looks like a good opportunity to check if the registering IP comes from a VPN, this shouldn't be allowed

You have to visit the same website to fill out the registration form. So if they want, they already have your IP. And I think you should only worry if there is like 10 other "real accounts" registered with the same IP address

This is useless, you can use your neighboors WLAN, your smartphone, your library, your university, school, cafe ...

True, if they are looking to track user IP then there is little they can achieve through this because there are alot of ways to exploit this, the project has grown alot in its few life span and is now left for the developers to deliver on their promised technology.

As far as I could tell, Nova is supposed to work fine again. However, they're in a similar situation as DO was during the blacklists. They had to block a lot of IPs due to the DDoS attack, so it's possible that some people who are innocent are currently unable to register on or use Nova for trading. It seems like everything will be back to normal soon though, if it isn't already.

I agree with @FaucetKING. It's still a good time to buy Onions following the dump. It went down to 16k sats and it's slowly rising again.
