This release is interesting for preparing Deeponion users, but by then things can change! In addition, it's necessary to know if the community of these countries that use Deeponion is great because if it's not, it will take time to see some impact on coin.

Russia is banning all vpns as well as tor and other proxies. This means they won't be able to use the official wallet, but it doesn't stop them from trading via nova exchange or other methods. Perhaps an escrow service like the one on the official DO forum will also help them.

The essence of this law is somewhat different. Namely, the law establishes a ban on the use of information systems and programs for access to sites, access to which is limited in Russia. This means that the management of VPN companies, Tor browser, the police will ask not to provide access to sites banned in Russia (casino, extremism, child pornography, etc.) of ordinary users, this law does not affect. Moreover, it is technically impossible to prohibit it.

I'm still wondering if anyone could give me some idea why I'm blacklisted -- I applied earlier, was told I didn't have whatever was being looked for, but just applied again last night and it says I'm blacklisted.

Would be interested in being a part of this -- I've had an account for many years though I took a long break until I kind of got back into crypto recently. 

I think it's something they do not like with accounts having been inactive too long because we can think that they only come back for gains...

I agree this is not just any coin but it will be taking over the anonymous cryptocurrency market by storm. No other current or upcoming coin can compare to DeepOnion evenmore when the new deepsend and deeptrust features are implemented putting us ahead of the curve. It's true this is not just a hype coin but a fair coin that has the opportunity to see success of which the likes no current coin as seen before.

It's impossible because any russian citizen can buy VPN access from anywhere in the world, where Russian law does not apply.

Short of blocking every IP address outside of Russia, I don't see how this could be effective, the VPN traffic looks just like HTTPS.

DeepOnion can't and won't be stopped by these types of rules.
