Not really a shitcoin (see airdrop^), scam is not proved (only some difficulties to manage airdrop), and yes, again, because it's one of the most interesting project currently ^^

I agree. This is by far the best coin out there from the 2017 batch. Look at the support and response for the airdrop. Rather than spamming, be a part of this great community and build it together. I believe this coin and all the efforts from the dev team is phenomenal and noteworthy. In the end, haters or lovers both cause publicity. Good or bad, publicity is publicity. I remember haters from 2013, 2014 who hated and called bitcoin scam and I am sure they are regretting now.

Lots of ICOs are scams because they take your coins and run away! Deeponion has not asked for any bitcoin / ethereum / or any other coin so hardly a scam. Also there is strong community backing and even more new features in the pipeline so not a shitcoin either.

How will the security of the DeepSend technology you're developing be validated? Will you have external auditing of this?

I would like to bump this question, I belive it is worth thinking about it, it will add value to the devs efforts and will be eyeopener for the external public. Gives reference etc..

Indeed I agree with Lumining, having a strong community with people who have faith in DO and keep together in hard times, is what will make the project a success.

All it takes for something to be accepted as payment method, is that both the seller and buyer accept the curreny. More participants will mean less onions for everyone, but wider distribution actually increases the coins value.

Oh come on. It's so much easier to to just pop in a thread and say scam and shitcoin without even adding any shred of evidence whatsoever. I mean damn, I wouldn't expect him to even read anything regarding DO as he already has his mind made up with undisputed evidence known only to him.

So, if any of you braniacs feel this is a scam please save us all from ourselfs and let us know why so we can get professional help.

A scam is generally someone trying to "Swindle" you out of something for profit.

The owners of this coin are not selling any to the public, they are airdropping it out for free, and letting the market decide its price.

If you don't want to buy, your fine, if you want to be an early adopter, get on the Airdrop and your in for free. If you cant join the airdrop, then you can buy some and with the current prices Its virtually no risk, buy 100 for like 60 dollars and forget about them for a year or so.

The deepsend feature will basically be an integration of the supersend feature from supercoin ircc.  Somethings will be changed, but if you want you can already audit the supersend feature as it's basically going to function the same way.

I agree.  If this coin is a scam, then so is every other coin that's currently ICOing.  With all the projects these days asking for BTC/ETH before even developing the product, why would anyone choose to call Onion a scam when it's given away for free?  No matter what the project is, there will always be people to FUD.
