What's the effect of the new rules? I think the direct goal of the new rules is to introduce more new people and make transactions more active. Because this is the two problem that onion encounters, whether these two problems are solved effectively is the key to evaluate whether the new rules are successful or not. Let's look at the situation after the 16th airdrop.

hi onioners, what happened to our favorite deeponion.info website? it's been down for serveral days already. is this site officially supported by the dev team? or has it transferred to a new url?
this site is nice, contains lots of airdrop info and helpful for participants. hope we can see this back online.
I think we have a new replacement here, check this out https://blockstats.pw/deeponion/This is done by our member @ Mikanoshi, from our main forum thread https://deeponion.org/community/threads/deeponion-statistics.5411/Enjoy watching

I feel like the new airdrop rules have created almost a re-birth of this project. There seems to be more buzz, more posts. There is a palpable excitement that is happening. I'm really excited to be on-board. I don't understand how you can hate on a project with such a large and devoted community.

You got that right bro. When they change the rules, even moving the bitcointalk registration date to oct.1, it opened a lot of doors to the airdrop hopefuls. Not even the required minimum 100 onions in the wallet can stop us. This way, the onions will reach a lot of people, they will buy onions, prevent big dumpers through the new airdrop rules etc. The devs just continues to innovate and improve DO. Haters just gonna hate. lmao

I think the major part of the rules is not just to eliminate cheating, but reduce the workload of the mods. That mess is history.

Wondering whether the BCT membership level is still a factor or not (e.g., Jr. Member 0.8, Member 0.9, Full Member 1.0,...) in the new rules?

It iis no longer a factor, instead the amount of Onions you have in your wallet determines how many Onions you will receive in the airdrops. Every Onion over 10,000 will get a 1.2 multiplier so it rewards the early adapters and investors.

Really looking forward to the next airdrop and truly hope to be unblacklisted. Damn I missed the juiciest five airdrops, that's a shame, but looking forward to see deeponion grow as time passes.

If we analyze the new rules, it really was well thought of. It is a balanced compromise for all. -cheating (multiple accounts) is instantly eliminated -workload for mods is immediately lessened, no more time consuming checks for cheaters, they can focus on more important tasks -opens the airdrop to those who has money to buy and trade coins, increasing trading volume in exchanges and hopefully the price -opens the airdrop to newbies with minimal cost (buy 100 onions or join bounties) and discourages freeloaders
I'm excitedly anticipating the results of these new rules in the coming weeks.

Hello people! I wrote this article today, maybe you can share it if you like it! I read a lot of people talking about this and I just wanted to share my point of view about it. The new rules are working at this time and we should share our comments on this for the good of all. I'm glad to see how our forum is being updated. https://steemit.com/deeponion/@vaas123/deeponion-community

it's good to have a rule change from time to time to adapt to the current situation. hopefully there would be alot of new members that will join the airdrop and help this community. we need more members, we need more interested people to invest in this project.
