I had that problem, for me the simplest way was to backup my wallet, reinstal it, than add fresh nodes. At the end I just imported backup wallet file and done. Luckily blockchain isn't that big for download again.

+1 to this answer from pedjo99 - this did the trick for me on the one and only occasion the Onion wallet refused to sync - the problem that caused the weird wallet response was almost certainly the hard shutdown of the computer I performed immediately prior to the weird wallet response.

PoS 10% in the first year, 5% after that. It's all explained in the OP ;-)

If you don't stake, be patient. Your weight builds up over time. There might be weeks where you dont get a stake, but eventually, they will come in. I havent gotten anything for 2 weeks, then 4 stakes came in over night

I use a high block size too - my entire airdrop wallet address! I implemeted coin-control and was about to break up my principal address into smaller blocks, but my brain suddenly went 'meh' and so I left all as it was.

Perhaps I will reconsider maximizing my Onion PoS in the future - but currently my brain remains in 'meh' mode.

Yeah you need to run the wallet 24/7.  Not sure, but every time you close it you have to wait a bit again before staking the coins.  It should be a decent amount per year, of course per day it wont be all that much.
