I think that the best wallet for an altcoin should be the coin's very own wallet. I feel like it is a whole safer, better, easier, and most convenient to use. A lot of these altcoins have their own wallets already, so if you are going to store them, why not store them up in their wallets? There are also some good wallets that are designed for multiple altcoins though.

Once the biometric security arrives that will be the best way to store the crypto for sure. Since that kind of technology is unhackable so if you lose it no one will be able to open it and you will be able to open the wallet with your eye which is cool as well Also if you lose your wallet you will be able to get the new one and still open it with your eye.

There are only few coins now that don't have their own wallet, some have their platform to manage their wallet easily. It seems to be a trend now that those who run ICO creates their own wallet.

in my opinion, the most secure wallet is created on coin dev / team .personally, I use it,and to be honest I use a few Koslov for safety .
The coin should have a wallet built by the developers, that should be the smoothest wallet available.

I think that you should give preference to the hard wallet, it is always safer than any other way to keep crypto. To my mind, it is better to choose the wallet for altcoins after you make sure it is really reliable

The most reliable storage are cold or ledger hardware wallets , best wallet. In the case of hardware wallets scriptactive ledger assets remain safe even if you lose your wallet: confidential phrase recovery supports your device, and your account can be easily restored on any device ledger . Also your private key, providing access to your coins, never displayed.

What is the best and trusted wallet for lots of altcoins?
if it is ethereum tokens (erc20, erc233) then you can use mycrypto.com or MEW, both are good and reliable.

The most secure way of storing your altcoins is using cold or offline wallets like paper wallet, trezor, ledger, etc but it's most suitable for storing your long term assets. But for coins that you would need to be accessing frequently, there are some good multicurrencies wallet like coinomi, trust wallet, etc.

Right now there are a lot of wallets for holding different cryptocurrencies out there, you should do thorough research before selecting any wallet as most wallets out there are scams, use to steal the private key once you load the funds on it. The best wallets are hardware wallets & paper wallets, but hardware wallet cannot support some coins so you should take some extra care when selecting alternative desktop/web/android/ios wallets.

ERC20 and MEW is the best wallets to secure the coins. These wallets have a very strong platform and the developers.

The best wallet for altcoins would be a hardware wallet. Although there is not wallet right now that supports all of the altcoins in the market. My advice would be to get a hardware wallet that supports the coins that you have and for the coins that is not supported, make sure that you get their official wallet, one which you control the private key to so you can keep it safe.

Personally, I think that now the best wallets for safe work with various altcoins are Ledger and trezor. They assume the safest, most convenient working conditions. So far, in about a year and a half of working with these wallets, I have not had any problems.

The best and safest option is always Wallet, which is supported directly from the developer, always up to date, safe and fast!

In my opinion for cryptography the best wallet is Ethereum. For me, it is better to transfer altcoins to ethereum and store them in a MEW wallet.
