Completely agree with the OP. Nowadays, there is a lot of religious fanaticism around the world. Brainwashing is everywhere and the two major religions (Christianity and Islam) are fighting among themselves to convert the maximum number of people. There is religious intolerance everywhere.

The key phrase in your post is "brainwashing". If the person is sensible to brainwash useless. I know one way or the brains of a person or not. For me, all people who believe in God simply do not have brains. It does not matter what religion they believe in.

It is even worse, if these people are ready to kill others for their imaginary god. I don't believe in god, although I don't have anything against people who do so. But killing and kidnapping in the name of god is unjustifiable.

And another one! I totally agree with you mate and at the same time I won't really blame only religion being the cause of what is going on in our society. Humans themselves decided to twist the whole thing around in a way to impose their own belief on others. It has really gone crazy and now a virus that has eaten so deep and can't be cured unfortunately. Like you said, people need to wake up, not because religion is a big lie but because they themselves has turned to a big lie.
