How can we push the actual use of Bitcoin ?

Theres no need to push the actual use of bitcoin users nowadays will advertise the bitcoin it self it is like you were gonna invite someone just to use the investment you were using special altcoins that needs investments, day by day people shows intertest to use it and that is why the demand and the volume of bitcoin is getting more higher than the past years. I think the best way to push the actual usage of Bitcoin is by establishing a lot of Bitcoin merchants or compelling merchants of various goods and services to accept Bitcoin. Secondly, it's imperative for us to solve all issues associated with the Bitcoin network so that there will be faster confirmation and somewhat low transaction fees so that it will come in handy when making smaller transactions.

It's a good idea. I remember a thread about a wedding where some guests used bitcoin as a gift for the newly wed. So I hope this would be a trend in some occasions where guest will give btc on the celebrant. It's informing the people and also making them a bitcoin user.

A massive use for a coin that needs about US 4.00 (this barely adopted as coin) to transfer as fee is hilarious.

The fee is starting to be rather noticeable. The credit card fee of 3% is almost preferable for smaller transactions.  Hopefully this will correct itself in time to keep bitcoin competitive with other payment options.

It it natural that the fee is increasing the more bitcoin gets used by the public so the demand of it has gone up but until recently the supply remained the same, the miner could only accommodate so many transactions in a single block, this made the price of the fees to skyrocket but now that segwit has been activated I think we are going to see a reduction in the fees in the next months.

I and many others just hold their bitcoins and wait till it gets worth more. But that is not how a currency should work. A currency is meant to be used in daily trades for groceries and so on.

My question is how can we push the actual use of the bitcoin and what is nessacary to do that ?

I think first, we should wait till the scaling problem is hopefully solved in near future, because right now even if I had f.e. a grocery store, I would not accept Bitcoin as payment becasue of the confirmation time of the tx (I would hand out some coupons which can be bought for BTC)

After this problem is solved this would be my ideas, I hope you help me gather more:

• Convince organisations like amnesty international to accept bitcoin as donations
• Convince big internet companies like amazon to accept payments via bitcoin, this should take a while but with some petitions they might consider it (propably better starting with some smaller companies)
• Start accepting bitcoins yourself, not only on the interent but for example if you are a student and do some private tutoring, and have a small ad for you on a blackboard somewhere, you could print a "Bitcoin accepted" on it.

Indeed. A real characteristic of a currency was to be capable of being use as a term of payment in various business establishments. But the statement that we must push bitcoin usage, I think it is no need for that thing to do. There are many people like, not only students have that problem but housewives as well, a housewife cannot get a regular job because she takes care of the kids and the house but with bitcoin she can make some additional income from her home on her free time, and this also applies to a person with a disability, there is a lot of discrimination out there, but bitcoin does not discriminate, as long as you can do the job you get the earnings.

I think that the only way to make people feel more confortable using bitcoin is just by promoting it, doesnt matter where, but it has to be more pushed and promoted on the TV, mass social media websites, like facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.

I believe that bitcoin should not be only be hold but also be used. We can push the use of bitcoin once there are more institutions and retail store make bitcoin available as a payment. Like in our country, people are tempted to use bitcoin because there are transaction like cable and electric fee are bitcoin base. Bitcoin were also used as prepaidload or payment for online games. yes that is right that increasing transaction fee is a hurdle for, but i think the number of bitcoin users is also another reason, i think that with the passage of time when bitcoin users will increase then people will like to use bitcoin for which it has created i think that it will take some more time because still the users of bitcoin are below 2%.

I just wondering what is the actual use of Bitcoin? I do not think that people can see the actual usage of bitcoin. Besides the good technology and the source of income, I do not see bitcoin can be used as other things too. Well, may be something like gambling or spend bitcoin to have some fun will be an exception. So what is the real purpose to use this bitcoin then?
