Based on pre-crowd-sale price of 8888 for 1 ETH (using 200 as ETH/USD) its a ~USD 36m valuation. Its not cheap but its a nice idea.

Yes at current prices if all were sold out it would be that much, however Ethereum's prices have been fluctuating wildly recently and it was the case where ether was headed a few days ago. Additionally our cap is such that we have enough funds to develop for 1-2 year and successfully market even taken into account risks of fluctuating prices of Ethereum and other cryptos. While this amount may be a lot for some less applicable projects, the music industry is such that the bigger get bigger. Spotify has raised over 1 billion $ through debt and if we have any chance of competing at the mainstream level, we would need to ensure that funds are there to support our endeavours. We really do with to develop the project (And we have already started with the infrastructure as you can see from our Beta) and hope not to dissapoint! |

How would you differentiate yourself from

similar coin in Decentralized Music Sharing industry?
Voise, Musiccoin and any other similar "coin" is basically bitcoin but with a diff. name, These tokens/coins are only used on their respective websites while Opus is an entire music sharing infrastructure. We store songs and all metadata data in a decentralized and rapid IPFS swarm and Ethereum.
API's for third party player developers are also soon be released for them to help create their own Opus players.
Opus even has a working beta and a demonstrable product, unlike some of these past music oriented projects. Going on ICO's without even a hard product to show off.

Do realize that the actual number has little to do with the amount we raise. Projects such as EOS will raise 20-30x our MAXIMUM cap.  |
