The amount of 0.01 (equivalent to 2.24$ current value) is for transaction fees and to keep out spammers. You could get 100 coins for it, the price via direct sale is 0.01 for 1 coin, so it's a 100x multiplier. And in case you send it to late (low gas fee or whatever) you get a lottery ticket (at the normal rate of 0.01 they cost). Fair deal? Straight, eh? :-)

So I am honest: I don't promise any tech that might be done some day and might work - or not. 0.000001 ETH would not even cover the TX cost to send you the tokens. And as you know: I do like to go on a nice holiday for my family and not have any additional costs with the airdrop. ;-) If 0.01 (around 2,50$) is too much for you, just don't send any funds. Buy back to hold some of them myself. Seriously: How many tokens are "used" for their native purpose? Either they're traded in daytrading or held longterm. This is what this token is for as well, hopefully they're not dumped as soon as we hit an exchange but held longterm. :-)

No, not another UET. It's meant serious. But if it's useless or not is a matter of perspective. What about the EOS or so many other coins that are traded right now. They might have a purpose someday, but not yet (and maybe they never will). Are they useless? No, because its all about speculation for most of us anyway. However, you don't need to particiüate if you think it's useless. :-) BTW, the token will be STC and not STR.

You don't need to register. You need to send 0.01 ETH to the provided adress to prevent scam (for the airdrop). Later on, when 250 people participated you can still invest in the direct sale or lottery - which you can do now as well, but first I would recommend the airdrop - more bang for a buck. :-) And no, it is not a scam. You will receive STC tokens for investing/joining the airdrop!

Nope, it's not. I am just telling you straight out, that this token won't have any valua, besides the one you put into it. That's not different ftom most other tokens out there. They might have whitepapers (did you read them? Did you realize 80% are just written so there is a whitepaper, but not because there is a real innovation that needs to be explained?), they might have a team including advisors (LOL) and a fancy website. But throwing 100dreds of dollars at ICOs you don't know if they ever will suceed is at least as much speculation as sending money to me. Except in this case you don't need to feel bad if it won't work out - I told you there are no promises!

Yeah, maybe it is not a classical airdrop. But more than a normal distribution/token sale as well. We do have the normal token sale as well, where a token is 100* as expensive as when getting it via the airdrop.

As we want a fair distribution to many participants we diceded to extend the time you can join Straightcoin till all airdrop tickets are given away. Aroud 190 are still eft. For as long as the airdrop will last lottery tickets can purchased as well. Although we have sold 400 already, theres mainly one larger investor so we hopt to get more on board so it stays fair.

The 25000 STC that originally were distributed via the direct sale for 0.01 ETH for each token are distributed via the airdrop for the extended distribution period. Every participant of the airdrop who has sent 0.01 ETH as a fee will get 200 STC instead of 100!
The lottery sale will go on as well. As soon all airdrop seats are used, the lottery will end as well and your tokens will be sent.

hello , here a little typo you may like to correct.

Whats the difference between STC tokens and lottery tickets?

You get one lottery ticket for each 0.1 ETH you are sending via the lottery contact form. You could also get one STC for every 0.1 ETH you are sending. The differnce is, that your STC is safe. You get them transferred no matter what. Your lottery ticket only represents a chance to get either a lot, nothing or something in between that. After the drawing you can check how much you have won and get your STC token sent to your ethereum wallet.

You are not everybody. Some like it, some don't - to say it straight! It's totally fine if you don't, but almost 100 participants sent the minimal fee to join the airdrop and a bunch of lottery tickets are sold as well. If it takes some time it is ok. Noone will get any tokens we will never dill those seats and even I'd they filled so what you get a worthless token. Nice way for Dev to get free ETH though. Dev if you want to prove me wrong then so until then this is just a scam.

Well, the thing is, the Dev basically promoted this coin as something with no promises. In that regard, he was honest and up front.

Still, it looks like this thing is DOA.
