I am once again seeing deposit issues at Coingather.

I have multiple deposits up to 24 hours old on the blockchain with hundreds of confirmations that have never arrived. I also have deposits from the Hobbyist pool that are also on the blockchain and confirmed that have not been credited. I have just opened a ticket with Coingather and have provided them with all the Transactions Ids. Will update when I hear more.

Coingather's Wallet Status page shows that they are over 600+blocks behind on the chain.

Their page shows block 3590623 but the chain is on block 3591216.

Just checked the Coingather wallet again. It's still stuck at the same number. This is probably a good thing. They bounce that sucker and they may be back in business.

Coin info submitted to poloniex and coinomi to add NewYorkCoin (NYC)

hello, You could try to add the coin on cryptopia, or novaexchange. Poloniex had added one coin during the last month and will never list the NYC,but Cryptopia add almost everyday coins.

Update. Many of my missing deposits have now appeared however the Coingather wallet still appears to be 500 blocks behind.
Have not heard a word from their support.

I would still like to know what the heck the main purpose of this coin is? What service does this coin offer or what specific feature or what cause does it serve?

obviously it's fast transactions, 30 sec per block, that can be usefull for small offline traders and other prompt payments
And yes, NYC is for NYC. After all it's seems that coin has a potential to skyrocket very soon
These are the major for me.
Maybe someone could point out other advantages arising form tech side of the coin?

I don't want to be rude, but anything you mentioned as a feature or advantage of this coin is literally worth nothing on a competitive scale. I was always wondering why anyone would pay attention to this?

You must have a low iq or not understand digital currency. Have you ever used bitcoin? You know that little insignificant thing called TIME. See if those are enough hints for you to discover the HUGE benefit of using NYC to send and receive money...

I pretty much don't care about what you think my IQ is like. If a 30 sec block time is all you have to offer, then good luck with your shitty project.

NYC UPDATE IS ALMOST COMPLETE

MERCHANT AWARENESS CAMPAIGN COMING SOON IN NEW YORK CITY

Want to help the price of NewYorkCoin increase?

1. Search online for businesses in New York, New York and Brooklyn, New York in YOUR language. If english, then you can call ALL businesses in NYC

2. Ask for owner/manager and just talk to them about bitcoin AND newyorkcoin. Be an advocate of digital currency, decentralized banking, anonymous transactions, low fees, peer-to-peer worldwide network, fast transactions, easily exchange for USD (coinbase, poloniex)

3. After explaining bitcoin to them: NewYorkCoin is much faster sending/receiving than Bitcoin. NYC is bitcoin's younger brother. On the litecoin fork. Launched/born in 2014 vs 2009. Huge upside potential with NewYorkCoin. Now worth tiny fraction of a cent - next year WHO KNOWS!

4. Want to post a small bitcoin/newyorkcoin sticker on your door? NYC FOUNDATION will give you 10M NewYorkCoin for free!

I totally agree with you. The thing is that there are faster coins already. If the block time is the only value proposition you have, hm.... Looks bad I'd say.
