French Low quality translator

Okay I talked to him, he is a good translator, but Corion only paid him like 20$ so he did it quick, the quality is not perfect. But he will work harder next time

Also how did he steal your work? Seems like he posted it first.
However, if you did not have reserved spot for the translation first, i do not see how he could steal your work at all apart from just having bad quality translation.

There was someone recently who translated in a lot of different languages, proving he didn't speak any of them at all. He got a red tag for sure. It's dishonest.

I'm French. I'd say there is some work put into it, pure google translate would be way worse. But it's certainly not great.

Its not a google translate, only a poor quality translation, but as the dev said its not the official translation and he did it two times.

Disagreed. You should not be:
1) Using any kind of automated translation tools to claim bounties.
2) Attempt to claim bounties in languages which you do not have an adequate mastery of.

To defend myself : I agree that the thread you are mentionning is of poor quality.
However, I didn't use Google Translate for it. I did it quite quickly, because I didn't really believe
in the project, and it was my first translation. Maybe I shouldn't have reserved the translation for this thread.

I worked with jamalaezaz, and you can ask him, my translations were always good.

I hope you will believe me and that I can continue working without any problem.

Everybody is reserving languages in bounty threads, it's easy to see this and to do the same.
I wrote this message after having reserved.

In fact I reserved by contacting the team directly on Slack.

It's my only account. I knew Bitcointalk before but didn't have an account.
I created one when I discovered bounty programs (1 month ago).
I reserved the whitepaper on June 15th by talking to Jamal on Slack (it was saying Bounty Manager).

Its sad, but most people just do google translate and thats it, maybe proof read a bit.  The coin devs should not just give it to the first who "reserves" it, they should see reputation or something.  if they get a bad translation its kinda their own fault too, they should not pay.

For my part, I've never used Google Translate.
If it's only a matter of quality, it's up to the team behind the ICO to accept it or not.
That's why I don't see why I should be punished.

If people native to this language have trouble understanding your translation or just outright state that it is bad, then you do not have the necessary skills to produce a translation in said language. Therefore, you should not be attempting to cheat bounties with low-quality translations (automated or not).

I don't see why you should not. I take it French isn't your native language, and your mastery does not seem to be adequate (according to the statements from others). Why are you translatingtrying to translate into French then?
