so basically it is safer for you to convert btc to an altcoin in preparation on the upcoming august 1?so logically it is safer if you scater your btc to other altcoins too. that sounds good minimizing the risk

August 1st will be a day to remember. Guys protect your coins (protect your bitcoin private keys) And remain cool. And MOST importantly do not do ANY transactions during the possible chain split on August 1st.
Wait for the dust to settle for a week or 2 before doing any large payments on the bitcoin network.

I researched enough i dont take any decision i will keep my bitcoin as it is and i will keep my Private key and Paper wallet if split happens i can able to choose the split as far my understanding if wrong please correct me .

no lol, buying altcoin now that every altcoin is dumped, is the dumbest idea of all you will lose all your coins in a matter of minute, just hold your bitcoin until all this dust come off, i-m removing all my bitcoin for trading on various exchange, but i don-t think everyone will do the same or all the exchange will be empty, i wonder about how they will protect their bitcoin on exchange now without missing the opportunity to buy cheap altcoin |

I mostly hold Ethereum and Bitcoin. I also hold some altcoins. All of my coins have gone up in value and I still have all of them because I like to hold them like that.
LOL, didn't you 'transfered' all your Bitcoin to Monero? You're lying or REKT. But don't worry, Monero is solid, eventually you'll get your money back and then some. |

Instead of putting your BTC for buying some altcoins why not sell and buy again after Segwit in August 1. Many people predict Bitcoins is drop near 50% in Price this July to Mid August then slowly up until reaching 3000$ stable price so Take advantage on the Date bitcoins drop July to August and buy Bitcoins Again. This is just my opinion based on what I read so it's up to you.

Bitcoin will split
I transferred all my Bitcoin to Monero for the upcoming rise, then back to BTC in October
Good decision, dangerous to store BTC in wallet at this time, should save in wallet offline. Or invested in altcoin like you. It's safer. September will return to normal. |
