These projects are similar, I will not argue, but you understand that such similarity still does not go into such a comparison, of course everyone will opt for the ETH project, because Waves is a beginner project compared to ETH

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Both projects are cool, but public awareness of this coin decides everything. and if you go out and ask anyone what kind of coin he would buy, everyone will choose etherium, since almost no one knows about the waves. and due to this ethereum and will remain in place in the top

Waves is a good coin and maybe it will have a bright future, but at the moment I prefer Ethereum, because it's a strong coin and we will see it back to 1000$ soon.

Waves is a good project but I think it cant be an Ethereum competitor because is less complex and also its tokens have less possibility of development compared to eth blockhain usage.
I don't like also waves decentralized exchange because it has very poor liquidity for tokens.
yeah, it's to difficult for Waves compete with Ethereum in market, and i agree with tamango about waves DEX exchange, better than Ethereum DEX exchange we can trade with high volume in ethereum DEX than waves DEX

There are a lot of projects, which are saying that they will overcome Ethereum, that they are better then Ethereum and their technology and fees are best... But Ethereum is the first coin with smart contracts and that is a very valuable reason why it's on the top 2 - not waves, not EOS, not other similar altcoins.

Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"

Waves for me doesn't look attractive at all. This altcoin can't go with any comparison to ethereum. Let's see how Waves will show itself in the future but for now I prefer to invest in ethereum.

Ethereum is the clear winner compared to Waves - just look at the market share of Ethereum and market share of Waves.

Waves differs from Ethereum. Both of them are platforms for tokens, but I heard that Waves has a huge amount of pre-mined coins even bigger than Ethereum has. Also the Waves platform is not completely decentralized because there is necessary to use the "match" orders and servers. Moreover, the volume of the Waves DEX is significantly smaller compared to Ethereum. I think that currently NEO is a real competitor to ETH, not Waves.

At the moment, I would choose Ether, because it looks much more prospective in this market. I think that there will be a final wave of the fall of the market, after which many coins will not be restored, but the Ether should not simply recover, but grow strong!

I think that the waves are quite capable of moving Ethereum, because the wave was carefully worked out at the initial stage, and it does not have such a problem with inflation!

Waves is a good one but ethereum is better. As we can see in the past month or even last year a lot of projects under the waves platform switching to the smart contract of ethereum network it because the market in waves platform is not good enough to make a volume for the tokens. There is less investors when it comes to under the waves projects.
I fully agree with you, I also believe that the ETH project is a project on which a lot of things are now based and based on earlier, therefore, in general, the ETH project is probably a fundamental project that cannot be ignored.

I don't heard some word from waves now.  I don't even know what are the new from waves because there are some coin that overtake waves so how it can get the crown of the ethereum if it is not good to use or not popular from now.

There are some possible next ethereum that I can see but waves has wallet so it can reduce the possibility of getting died.

Lack of development, terrible platform, so many scam assets and more bad things about waves platform and that's enough to make a lot of people are feeling disbelief about this platform. Waves can't compete with ethereum. you can try to compare it from the demand and i thought that you have known who will be the winner.

I see no reason to compare the Waves and Ethereum , the superiority of Ether is obvious. Popularity, adversity, constant work on the network team Buterin. Definitely I vote for ETH.

Both Waves and Etehreum are good platforms and it is also good to invest, but when a developer decides to launch an ICO, he is left with two options; to create a custom blockchain or create on an existing blockchain. Waves provides a network where the developer can issue tokens for sale without having to spend a fortune. Waves is not only cost efficient, it offers flexible trading pairs for the token and is relatively scalable. Waves platform is notable for its simplicity and ease of use to create and ICO on the network, you only need to create an account on the system. While Ethereum became notable as the platform where blockchain startups issued tokens through Initial Coin Offerings. Ethereum’s ERC-20 token standard became popular as it supports the creation of smart contracts.
