Yes i think it's very profitable to invest in ICO.But nowdays many ICO are scam therfore before the investment i suggests you to do proper research about that coin.The many ICO have been successful  and they are too much profitable for you.But some of ICO has been unsuccessful and they also not return you your investment so that's big loss for you.so always be careful before investment in any ICO project.

Although invest in ICOs can help you get big profit, I don't think that it is the best way to invest. The best way to invest is Bitcoin. It is safer and you will get more profit than ICO. However, you need a huge fund if you wanna invest in Bitcoin

I agree hype is just that hype, some may make money with the project but most people that invested in such a project will lose money in the process, the most important thing are the devs and if the project is a viable idea, if it is, you may need to hold for a long time but eventually you will make money.

Holding is good but would depend on a certain coin you do hold up and this is the crucial thing since you wont even know if this coin would possibly pump on future.This is why seeking up informations and making research is suggested.If a certain project do have frequent updates regarding into their project then its a good sign that their devs are serious for going long term which we we can really presume that its really worth it to hold of. ICO is good way on making money but just on the past on where most ICO's are really worth and appealing but now on these recent days most of them end up on just a trash.

I don't think ICO is the best way to invest in, IMO the best way must be trading. Nowaday, the number of ICO project out there is too huge, a lot of them are scam projects, some of them are bad project and the number of good project is not so many that why it's really hard to invest in the right ICO project if you don't have much experience and skill. But with trading you can earn everyday, every hour by buying low and selling in high, and I think find out a good cryptocurrency to trade is much easier than find out a good ICO project to invest in
