Yes, but also it's the most risky way to earn money in crypto now. I hope that in the future there will be rules that will stop scam projects in ICO, but now it's more like gambling.
Gambling is games with the will of the case, which can be twisted. In ICO, on the contrary, you already know everything and you should not calculate all possible options, but understand whether the project will attract investors and how it is interesting to the public.

Yes I believe investing in ICO is as promising as it use to be before now but we just need to be extra careful when investing in ICO as there are fake ICO out now that come in the form of real ICO to scam people so my advice will be for us to go through a whitepaper before investing in any ICO.

I am sure that most investors, especially those who are short sellers, want to make quick money from ICO ,but it gone , so this is not so hopeful to me personally.
yes true, if the short seller desires but loses it all for what, then here becomes the problem of an ICO that should make a lot of money but a lot of fraud and don't make a positive contribution. indeed not all ICO like that many investors also still believe in ICO and how they work with still produce.

There is certainly hope for investing in ICOs, but you must invest in a truly reliable ICO instead of scam ICO. The hardest part is not investing, but choosing the right investment target.

What do you think about Blockshipping ICO?

The blockchain based GSCP platform is the world's first freight container registry and the first global platform allowing all players in the shipping industry to perform a wide range of transactions related to the handling of containers. The GSCP ICO opens in May.
I took them already for bounty campaign because I want to take as more as possible their tokens. Via bounty and token sale.

Seems like really cool project and they have quite good and experienced team.
Looks promising. But check it for yourself.

Yes, everyone can do the investing stuffs but not much people can spot the real , true potiental one to invest because they're just following the crowd and make mistakes with the scam projects.
Don't investing in many projects, just spotting a few ones that is best and invest in it.

And when it was bad. In my buying company shares are the best way to earn large sums of money in a short time. Nothing better than the present. The main thing is well suited to the choice of the company.

The fact is that if you want to invest in a project, it's better not to pre-sell tokens, especially if you are not familiar with this project. It is better to follow the intensity of fees from other investors.

When the market starts to pick up, you should consider investing in ICO.
I suggest you invest in Egretia, which is an excellent project and worth investing in.

I am a person that gains profit from investing in ICOs but now I'm having second thoughts. I know some ICOs are potential scam so I am really picky to where I put my money.
Anyway, considering with what happened to Ethereum price and with the nearing Aigist 1, do you guys think that it will still be profitable to invest on ICOs mostly on ERC20 tokens and those accepting btc payments?

I think yes it is. ICO still promising, and when you will invest in ICO, make sure to check if it is legit, and make some research about the project to make sure that it is not a scam. Investing in ICO is a good way to earn money, also you said that you are a person who gains profit from investing in ICO. So you are sure and i am sure that you can gain a huge profit from investing in ICO. So do not hesitate investing in ICO's.

All the giant coins that exist today have been born. And all nobody gets success instantly. Probably less than 10% of today's ico will survive in the future, but let's keep hope.

I think the one that makes this industry survive one of them is ico. Every day thousands of people put hope on ico. We know a lot of the coins are nonsense. But I believe some ico are still very potential.

Now is not the best time to invest.
How to protect yourself from fraud? It's quite difficult, but possible.
If you want to protect yourself from ICO scam. I think it is best to work hard to investigate the project team and the most important thing is to join their community. If it is a good project then their community will be huge

They were always promising, but a very small percentage of good ICO and therefore one should always look only for the best!

You're right on this one. There is no better way to protect yourself from ICO scams than with proper research and investigation being done into the project and making sure you know as much as possible about the project you are putting your money in. We must all work harder and smarter to ensure that we don't fall for these scams
