I think that it is getting harder to find a trustworthy ico among hundreds of scams. The major thing you should pay attention at,  is a project's connection with Blockchain. Some icos' seem to be simple startups which are trying to get more out of crypto hype:)

There are lots of really bad ICO but also some great ones. You should make a research on projects which can become amazing beforehand.

Personally i join ICOs that are realistic and are about building something amazing or brand new!

The crypto is growing because of altcoins also, it will continue to increase as soon as it will be regulated as investors will not worry
anymore and they'll have protection with their money at risk. With proper regulation, we can prevent scam ICOs and the reputation of crypto will become better.

We choose what we think could give us a profit in the long run but it's necessary to know the background of the team who are running the project.
If they have a good reputation that would be the right time to invest as I know they will not ruin their good reputation by scamming people when they
can use it to make money even more.

The ICO market is already bombarded with so many scams. I think it is not a market for people who are not yet well-exposed and informed about ICOs. The problem gets worse because there are so many promising ICOs and yet they are somehow generalized with the scam ones. There are people who now look at ICOs as pure scams and are only created to make money for themselves. This is not good.

I am a person that gains profit from investing in ICOs but now I'm having second thoughts. I know some ICOs are potential scam so I am really picky to where I put my money.

In my personal opinion, I am not in favor on investing in any ICOs because some of them are scams and didn't make it on raising their soft and hard capital.
Some of them didn't make it in Crypto Exchange and some of them just vanish and we have no idea where they're from and where they go.
If I would like to invest into another Altcoins then I would choose and pick new Altcoins that are already listed on coinmarketcap.com because they're already proven that they're worth for more investments.

read thier white paper and check the website if that ico is really promising and profitable in the future before o invest it. we cannot identify which ico is leget or scam so we have to do is do a reasech abot the ico before we invest.

Investing on Cryptocurrency is very risky due to it's volatility but it is more even risky if investing on ICOs because they're seems more valuable when you're looking at their project or ICO profiles but in the real world like when it hits Crypto Exchange and being listed on coinmarketcap.com then that would be the real score of the new Altcoin.
That's why I intend to invest to new altcoins that being listed on coinmarketcap.com because they're already passed the ICO stage and they're even reached their soft and hard caps along their way.

I think it is still promising if investing in ico, as long as ico is not a scam and success in the market, although lately many ico are scam or just accused of just a scam.
The key is smart looking opportunities, use the instinct of an investor..

Its true the demand is still high and i do think ico is the best way to fund money for a project and it opens for people and make investing easier for them.  I do believe there will be more ico come in this year and i hope there will be more way to avoid scam ico with a rules or selection that can help investors  investing in good one.

Success will happen if the team are willing to deliver, you are investing in a start up company and there is a great potential that the project will
be develop which would result to increase the value of tokens or coins you are holding.
Choosing the right ICO is the most important as there are a lot of ICOs right now, there are scams as well.
