It's a bit too optimistic, but I am positive about OMG.

I wouldn't call Omise "huge". They have 130+ employees and $50m in VC funding. That doesn't make them a "large" company at all. However, in the Blockchain space it's pretty significant. The McD rumour was confirmed by "J" in the Slack.

If that's indeed Jun Hasegawa - the CEO - than it should be pretty credible!

Thanks for the additional information. I suppose I will pick up some more -- just in case it blows up Wink

Well, did enough research now to see this being on its way to $10 rather easily. Put in a good chunk  of my BTC into this and hodling for at least a 1-3months depending on the ride. Kinda crazy that they don't have any promos on this forum yet their other marketing channels and advisory board are getting quite a lot of attention.

Someone from the team realllllly should be in here imo (or maybe will be once we hit Q4, I'll predict that by the end of Aug. we see $15-$20/OMG highs).

EDIT: Might happen much faster then that actually Wink

I don't want to speculate the price but I'm pretty optimistic about OmiseGO.
And my reasons also pretty reasonable Cheesy

OmiseGo seems to be a legit project. However, the recent growth is somewhat too fast, indicating a potential short-term pullback could happen.

With the news coming out of Asia that this will be used in mass adoption areas like McDonalds and such this coin is a must own. Its a $10 coin by the end of the year, that is for sure.

Wow according to this post on reddit "The token holders, in the aggregate, would be earning $180M/yr. At a fair multiple, this is $25/OMG."

Looks like the news and optimism is spreading, now that the price has risen to over $2.70.  Definitely has positive momentum.  I wonder how far this early news will take it.

SNT has 3.4billion coins in circ, it's going to take a lot to get it going in multiples imo (at least compared to Omise). Where as Omise has 100M, easy/easier to x-fold from here.

I think so, but it seems a good value to buy back again, I believe the future of omisego and already putted a lot of money. I've bought a lot at 19k satoshi. But the market direction is predictable.
I like the development of this project.

Congratulations everyone, hold on to your coins because Omisego POS is coming!

While the usual drumbeat of cryptocurrency innovation calls for 'banking the unbanked', a startup called Omise actually has the opposite goal: 'unbanking the banked'.

And with the help of Joseph Poon, co-author of bitcoin's Lightening Network white paper, the Thailand-based payment gateway network is building a decentralized exchange based onethereum to move toward that goal.

The decentralized exchange, which Poon has written another white paper for, is built directly into the company's upcoming proof-of-stake blockchain, OmiseGo. Once it's finished, users will be able to trade fiat currencies for cryptocurrencies, or exchange between almost any cryptocurrencies (say bitcoin for ether) without a third party like Coinbase or Kraken.

Eliminating middleman was cryptocurrency's original value proposition. Not to mention, trust in third parties is arguably what led to some of bitcoin’s most publicized disasters, including thefall of Mt Gox in 2014 and the $65m hack of Bitfinex last summer.

In contrast, Poon described the project as a sign of what's to come in the cryptocurrency space, calling the decentralized trading trend "a big deal".
