why not use CPU when PC runs anyway?

Because it's not worth the power consumption.

ok, thats a point for everyone, who's joining the party JUST AND ONLY for money.
no interests, no fun, no questioning behind politics.

i have fun, it's my hobby Cheesy PC, today OC, tomorrow back to clan and gaming, then maybe again something productive....
dont you spend money in your hobby? i do so!
i love biking, but not on streets, offroad! shiiit... 3000€ is a lot of for just a BIKE? ... dude, it spends so many hours of fun, excitement, LIFE ... why not "donate"?
what bike is for me at good weather, PC is at bad .... why not donate?

i dont calculate every euro, when i feel it gets too much i stop it, but some euros for energy for at least supporting the network isn't a thing that should be punished, is it?

I have a motorcycle. I support the network, with my GPU's.Why would I waste money on a coin I don't believe in?

agreed

but like i always say... i'm looking through blue eyes of a newbee, still got rest of feelings like "alice in wonderland" of the first days... i'm just writing down what i think because you devs and heros and "old rabbits" like germans say (long time belonging to sth. ppl) see all things maybe a little bit TOO technical and forgot the daily mass of new interested young/dumb, young/intelligent, old/technican, old/liberal family guy, ..... and so on, every one with other principes, other interests, every day newbees wanna loose their money or invest it in their believe of future you should make 2-3 steps back and watch this high-dynamic moving new-born child named "cryptocoins" from a ... "panorama"-view ... for me it looks like some minutes after "bigbang" when the universe is beeing formed.... NOW, between too many scams (or just typical capitalism-behavior learned in schools.... MAKE MONEY! 10years of education to be a stable cgminer for your country! ...drifting away...) it's simply hard to surive.... but i do not believe in god and uncontroled forced .... i think, darwin wasnt that wrong... strongest will survive, evolution will create stronger.... now, explain how this child (cryptocoins) will learn to run, even to walk, without doing first little steps?
who knows about future of opencoin? is pushed by official investors with millions into developement .... could attack BTC if Gox plays the role of the pricemaker long time further, cause trust in BTC will get lost as "decentralized" .. HOW? when price rises and falls with ONE exchange? what is DECENTRELIZED when coinlab takes gox to law and BTC instantly drops? thats, in my not-knowing-a-little-shit-of-dev-but-thinking-like-twice-father-wondering-about-future ? i think, cryptocoins are going to be a important thing in WorldWideWeb, when it once grows up ; )

And most people goes to Bter to sell alts, not to buy them. Tongue

Obviously that isn't the case, as they wouldn't be able to sell if there weren't an equal number there looking to buy.

Eh, sort off, agree. But still there's more people (read: miners) hurry to sell and with pretty small volume it's much easier to send price down with not much coins sold.

We'll see how this one will go and that's mainly to people who are buying at this point. Are they buying thinking it's very cheap and great entry point to invest or they just hope they'll sell at 10-20% of profit.

First one would be good option as it would mean the coins are changing weak for strong hands, the other one wouldn't be the one that would put too much smile on my face  Grin

Most of the orders are for very small amounts. It's very easy to manipulate a non regulated exchange.

yep, volume is very small, there's not enough "financial" power on bter. btc-e could do wonders for yac, shame they haven't added it yet.

I think the people at BTC-e are trying not to jump on every new coin that comes along and end up with something that tanks like FTC or CNC have done.
