Yes, X11 is a composite of 11 algos, but the hardware is designed to give you the result after running through all those algos. You can't just tell the hardware to stop in the middle of computing and give you the results for a specific algo. ASIC's usually are optimized and made very efficient at doing 1 specific function, in this case x11. To add or do only a specific algo requires not only a firmware change, but now also a hardware change.

Does Bitmain always give out coupons, or is this a special case because of drop in profitability?
I remeber receiving Bitmain coupons since S3 era.

Hi All, my D3 goes offline. It's hosted remotely so I can't really inspect it. Does anyone know if this is a common issue? I flashed it in early Nov., is there a new firmware out?

Are you working in Bitmain? The ASIC core parameters have not been published !! How do you say these statements? If you know anything about it, tell it ... otherwise it's useless ... What the guys try to do is a reverse engineer ... since Chip data is not public ... Chip on L3+ ---> BM1485 Chip on S9 ----> BM1387 Chip on D3 ----> BM1760 ?? Now ... have to read the PIC (PIC16F1704) data, for understand commands that a PIC make on each of the 3 boards of the D3 ... and understand the instructions that the Chip Asic accepts them ... and then you can make a verdict ...

You want $100 for a $125 coupon? That's not a great deal to be honest. Especially since the supply of Antminers of all kinds is low and the coupon can only be used on their site.

Could anyone urgently help please. I have D3's plugged in, I've updated their Firmware to the latest on the Bitmain website and since then I keep getting this issue. The chip statuses go to XXXXXX and hash 0. I've tried reflashing it with the firmware again and doing a power down and on. I appreciate any help, thanks! https://s7.postimg.org/5i5efj7vv/bitmainhelp.png

also received the coupon... BUT my 1x D3 is still "not shipped" yet. What's wrong with that? Anyone also "Unshipped" status?
Bitmain delaying shipments probably bc the network is already too packed. Hopefully Innosilicon put bitmain in Check on dash. Yea few forum members got caught up in the war but at least bitmain got knocked off its high horse for now. Little jihan doesn’t flood twitter like he used too. Heheheh. Starting to feel the heat I’d say. Anyway. Unless your buying gpu id stay away from mining. Let the big boys play with their ASICs and fight amongst themselves. Just invest in the coin you feel will do the best. Least you won’t have to keep it running 24/7. Trust me this is the best solution. If you want to be up at all hours of the day/night constantly checking that your rigs are online than by all means buy into the headache. If you really want a set it and forget it option again buy the coin. Mining is becoming a game to those that have gotten to big. Which really goes against the value of crypto. Jihan deserves all the karma coming his way BR

Is it just one coupon per miner or can you use several?
How do you redeem those anyway?
