High difficulty = Low supply of SIGT

Low Supply = Higher Price

If it will not increase then SIGT is most likely dead
went from 3k difficulty average to 10k average within its first 2 weeks of existence, hardly dead

9074 to 30k block
3-4 more days

Sorry for being emotional, I always try to give support to my miner users, but when I see THIS type of feedback I get quite angry. Now, cold-minded, step-by-step.

Let's look at transaction he accuses me with: http://explorer.signatum.download/tx/b394a7e345656d7540e56e5fb844cf6535f9b9d3a9d90873d46245b7055c4b3c

Two inputs, two outputs, 1st input of 1502.11312620 SIGT from main address, 2nd input of 300.55639141 from change address, OK seems like wallet has been drawned , or just used input-control feature.

Let's check main address http://explorer.signatum.download/address/BRkVT3nhssF33DiLm1aAFQ5So8kTQF5t6f , and then check what he claims "my" address http://explorer.signatum.download/address/BSEZ8BkfF6U5LnoBhYPUCLFxqTkstgw8qD

Look at inputs and outputs, nearly same amount inputs (~+100, then ~+250 every time to "my" address, ~+500 to shithead address) on both, how it comes this way? Autopayouts from pool. Have you ever seen hacker who mines to his stealth-address for stolen coins on pool? Me not, maybe I'm outdated and this is a new trend in cybercrime.

Then, look at the main shithead address transaction history, last two interesting, first http://explorer.signatum.download/tx/b394a7e345656d7540e56e5fb844cf6535f9b9d3a9d90873d46245b7055c4b3c he accusing me with, then, after 25 mins another one http://explorer.signatum.download/tx/b9d9f295b9f87e544a2f0477aac8f0a003e5569c47b9c7dde2cde00b89facae6.

Oh, I'm quite a bad hacker, forgot to steal another 2500 SIGT from shithead to my address http://explorer.signatum.download/address/BC68BCkdrrDBrrixSvXRX5XNXA2pGGiSG9 .

But stop, wait a minute, I've already stolen from shithead:
1)http://explorer.signatum.download/address/BRkVT3nhssF33DiLm1aAFQ5So8kTQF5t6f 17000 SIGT
2)http://explorer.signatum.download/tx/785ad89074706a0da9137f18de3e55ca3469bb6f575c1ae48c41a970e3001806 5000 SIGT
3)http://explorer.signatum.download/tx/25b133eb6549d28534a733962ae31732bf4aae00c3d8ad55359023f8e34b1734 2500 SIGT
4)http://explorer.signatum.download/tx/b92a1222fd0e1c03770e74c0c7a96a146c8585659a493fc43d709e8de5a343ad 778 SIGT

But he haven't noticed, no, and no-way he owns all three wallets mentioned in post, no-way, sir.

I have been using palgin mod with no issues - over a week of mining.

@palgin what do you mean by "wallet merged with hosting without encryption"?
thanks

I mean that he could install wallet unencrypted on his hosting server for easier automation of payouts (some type of scripting, in case of "giveaway" he mentioned, for example, grab all addresses from topic, calc them, then divide giveaway sum on number of addresses, make a command script and push it to wallett, I don't know his giveaway rules 'cause I don't know Finnish language), I checked his site and it's WP-driven, which is definetely not secure solution. Best CMS - custom CMS. But I think that this guy is just doing what he's paid for, nothing more, or just wanted to attract traffic to his website.

Thank you, I just don't like for that fake to spread around without any investigation, so then people will call me thief because they've heard somewhere something like this.

Hope you understand and forgive my bad manners.

Got some free time, currently working on Linux version for RHEL-based distros, because some RHEL/CentOS users reported existing binary not working for them. Maybe a bit late, but anyway, it should be done to cover all (maybe future coins based on this algo?).

I don't plan to tweak skunk anymore because PoW period is almost over for the mass-miner. Think I'll focus on Xevan when I'll have some more free time. Basic implementation has been added at v1.0 for Windows, it doesn't actually work (have to mess with hashing), but you can benchmark ~speed for this algo with my miner future version (I hope I'll finish it one day).

Hey Palgin,

Firstly Well done on your work with the Signatum community. Even though I have all AMD cards and can't use any of your work I still appreciate it.

Secondly I'm keen to learn about how this signatum community (and altcoin communities) work. I have a fairly basic level of understanding but not enough to truly appreciate how they work. Forgive the bluntness of this question , but who are you and how do you fit in to the crypto community? I guess I am just asking a bit about how you got to where you are now? I think this would help a lot of the new community understand the dynamics of this thread as a whole. I have literally read this whole thread and know of the Sig devs, SP, Crowetic, and yourself. But that is about it. Answer as brief or detailed as you would like

Also what is Xevan?

Xevan is algo used as PoW by BitSend coin, as I know there's no publically avaliable CUDA miner for this one and decided to give it a try, original dev gave up on this, so CPU/OpenCL only for this time.

About me, OK, I'm half-Russian, half-Ukrainian pseudo-freelance developer(pseudo because I do work for only one client on regular base and it takes almost all my time), I'm 28 y.o., studied at National Research Nuclear University MEPhI in Moscow but haven't graduated because of laziness and when I studied my thoughts were far from science  Grin Grin Grin. Then 1 year army service and I've started working in Vimpelcom LTD as helpdesk specialist in B2B segment, in parallel doing some freelance developement 'cause it was my hobby from childhood. 2 years later left Vimpelcom for freelance, had some self-made projects that didn't succeed at all and in 2015 got curious about blockchain and cryptography (should have bought some BTC in 2010 and keep it until now, stupid me).

And here's where I'm now, hoping that one day I won't need to care how to feed my family with hard-earned money and just relax in some peaceful place  Cool

I think 1070 should make 5Mhash with Xevan. Have you found souces for it - i saw only X17 on oficial page and no xevan realisation for ccminer despite what the the name says "xevan-ccminer" ))

P.S. Убьeшь мoнeтy ))) И кpacныx oбeздoлишь - им c эфиpa бeжaть бoльшe нeкyдa.

P.P.S. Have you seen lyra2z330 (lyra2zoin) gpu miner. Definitely someone made it for gpu but can't find.

Xevan is algo used as PoW by BitSend coin, as I know there's no publically avaliable CUDA miner for this one and decided to give it a try, original dev gave up on this, so CPU/OpenCL only for this time.

Иcxoдникoв нeт, пишy, opиeнтиpyяcь нa oпиcaниe aлгopитмa oт aвтopa и cyщecтвyющee oпeнцл-ядpo. Hy, в любoм cлyчae бyдeт xoть кaкoй-тo выбop. Пpo lyra2z330 нe cлышaл, нaдo бyдeт глянyть. A кpacныe нac вcex зaтoпят в любoм cлyчae, либo нaчнyт cocкaкивaть c эфиpa пpи пaдeнии xeшpeйтa, либo пpи пepexoдe эфиpa нa PoS  Wink

Haven't seen any sources except original xevan-ccminer, but it has only cpu-hashing implemented, so writing from scratch basing on algo-description and existing opencl kernel. Anyway, there'll be a choice for BitSend miners. Haven't heard about lyra2z330, should look at it. But AMD miners will drown us all one day, will it be leaving ETH for other coins because of hashrate drop, or will it be leaving ETH after PoS, it will definetely be doom-day for all mining community for a long time, I suppose.  Wink

Anyway low speeds of reds on Signatum defended us from them here. With them everything would be much worse.
Lyra2z330 Zoin coin algo. Used to be CPU mining with 300-400Khash per pool till 3-4 days ago. Now top miner makes 1.2Mhash. 10 i5 CPU make 7-8Khash. So you can count.
