Why would you choose an centralized currency that has many flaws and bugs that is controlled by bankers. Yes you can make quick and small profit but only for a short term investment there are no guarantee's that altcoins will last longer while bitcoin is supported by merchant, institutional investors, e-commerce, local and online businesses it is widely used as payment method and countries like japan and Philippines already accepted and legalized it some are looking forward into accepting it like korea and india. It is now a long term investment a safe haven for your assets.

It depends on what you believe in at the end. Bitcoin is the poster boy and most everyone knows about it, it's more stable in terms of price but that may not be for too long. Ethereum seems to be faster and better, but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll quickly pass up BTC. It needs support from the public.
Why not choose both? BTC is the best coin in the market but ETH is the second one as long as you earn your profit you can choose any altcoins out there it may help you to explore more and both coins have a potential so you can choose anything you want but it's still depend on your choice Why not? It's because theirs issue of split happening and people will surely find another safe place where they can convert their coins if this times happen. But their are other guys who looking up both of this coins since the potential to grow are so strong and might we gonna earn with it if we stake for long but the sad thing is I'm doubting to stake with bitcoins for now since I'm little bit anxious for this august thing happening and might will stick on ethereum for a while. |

You are exaggerating by saying that bitcoin is overrated for investment. The thing is heavy rise on bitcoin is always thought to be lost opportunity for investing into bitcoin. But what everybody forgets is, bitcoin will keep rising forever until it reaches the vanished supply. So bitcoin is priority in my case and it doesn't matter what the price if bitcoin is in any given time.

I'm with bitcoin for long term investment as we all know it is growing and it will keep doing that until it reaches out 7-8 figures of price per BTC. This is the spark that keeps me into bitcoin a lot. If we look at ether and ltc they are best leaders in the altcoin market but with very less chances of forwarding into valuation. So for me bitcoin is first choice of investment and then ethereum. :-)

As more retailers and commerce sites begin to accept bitcoin I can't see where position on top will change any time soon.

I don't think Bitcoin is overrated but I think it is the value of the btc that have and also should be . Here in my opinion the Bitcoin is at low rate and will gain more price in the incoming years . But here the best thing to make trading is to use the Bitcoin in the altcoins . Here myself never suggest anyone to use ETH/altcoins trading but will use the Bitcoin because Bitcoin available At many better place to make trading in easy way and why not because Bitcoin easy more easy and open to understand then ETH. Here I don't mean to ETH is bad but actually ETH has no much options to trade in every exchange directly so btc is more better . |

according to current scenerio the price of bitcoin is not rising much and i don't think investing in it is a good decision now but you don't mess with it when ever we think that the price of it will not rise till sometime period. the price had rised unbelievably. so, its depend on you if you have to achieve big profit you have to take risk otherwise ethereum is a safe and good option. |

Bitcoin has become still stands strong until now. Actually with the ethereum yes it is still been use as the smart contract and its features is good. But in terms of most on top is the bitcoin for me as this is really on growing and best to invest with. |

For me bitcoin is still the best investment, even the price today going down. Bitcoin is the mother coins, besides that many people using bitcoin as alternative payment than other coins. About trading there's no better coin, but wise strategy. If you wrong replace your money with scam coin it will never give you profit. For investment just do reseach about some coins, see their price action, volume and news speculation about it. Don't forget using stop loss and deal the risk. Good luck. |

When it comes to Eth vs BTC. I prefer going for both. As they are not directly competing, they can both very well also grow in parallel. In the long run investing in bitcoin provides higher reward/risk ratio and also Bitcoin is pioneer in cryptocurrencies. Ether on other hand has momentum and potential because of many use cases. Diversifying your investment is always best.

Yeah , there are many coins in the market which are more profitable that Bitcoin like more better coins . Here other altcoins are made for trading to get speed profit because usually we see that many types of the coins jumped to high price much speedily , so here more better to put the money in those coins but problem is that how to make sure that which coin will high price . Otherwise wrong selection for the investment of the btc in any coin may be results into loss . Here in the last year my best profit came from Pak coin , pxi , pXL , sib , waves , ETH , dash , ETC , blry , Trump and also these coins still have the tendancy to gain the price in the market again and with fluctuations we can make better earnings . |

I choose both, because I believe that ethereum was a good investment as alternative coins. However, bitcoin was better to invest due to good fluctuation of price in the market. In addition I believe that this both coins have a better future in in crytocurrencies world.

Bitcoin is pioneer in longterm investment, although ethereum nowadays can be considered longterm too. But if you base in stability bitcoin is more reliable to invest in followed by ethereum, litecoins and other high market Capitalization cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin is not over rated. we all know that bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurrency and is limited to 21million tokens only. some says that it could possible hit $500,000usd after 3years so bitcoin is a long term hold.

Bitcoin is like a gold standard to others cryptocurrency and because of this I don't think there is a coins compete with bitcoin. Bitcoin is far better to invest in compared to others cryptocurrency because is more stable than all of them and has given more return to its investors more than any other coin.
