As we are getting a clearer picture of what can happen on and after August 1, people have already voted their confidence on Bitcoin by buying back the coin into their portfolios once again. I think we are having some sort of a revenge here and this prompted many to predict that soon Bitcoin can surpass the psychological level of $3,000.

Can it be this week or next week? Anyway, it is not really that important...the most important thing is that soon we can be out of the woods and soon Bitcoin can be back soaring and roaring like a lion who is out of his cage.

As you said it seems like that $3000 is some magical psychological number that just cannot be easily broken. Honestly breaking $2000 was a piece of cake and i think a lot of people including me thought that the upward momentum will definitely push bitcoin over $3000 and establish a nice floor at the $3k level. Well, how wrong were we, because we've probably tried to break this like 3 times already and now we're again trying to break it after the sub-2000 level low.

If no network split was to occur after 1st August then obviously this would be major positive news for bitcoin and $3000 wouldn't be something that we have to dream about anymore. If not though, things are tough and probably a drop will be there waiting.

I think that probably not next week because this is the event that every one seems to be very scared about, the august 1 even though it may be rendered a useless date after all. People will likely prepare for this date by selling off the majority of their bitcoins beforehand for fiats or other altcoins meaning that price will prboably drop dramatically and only recover after the 1st August date has long passed.

True in the long term, more you invest in btc more you get back in the long term but probably inappropriate when used on the short term. If you are a day trader, you need to be careful because you literally make a living off trading.

I don't think so, because next week is really close to Segwit 1st August and i'm sure the price of bitcoin will change. But after the segwit 1st august done, i think the bitcoins price can reach 3,000 but we still don't know though, what will happen to the price of bitcoin after Segwit 1st august come.

When all miners are agreed already with Segwit2x for sure we will able to see the price to rise. But next week is quite early for me to see the price of bitcoin reaching $3,000. Though we really don't know if there's a whale that's going to disturb the market and will make the price higher and will buy bulk bitcoins.

whales never go against the market, if they were doing it they would have never became whales in first place!
they always go with the market, for example when there is a panic they dump and manipulate, when there is good news they have already bought the bottoms and place the big buy walls now. and things like that.

its less than $200 for reaching $3xxx but we are need more time before reach that price. i really hope that we can reach $3xxx in next week before 1st august so we can cash out a good profit while altcoin is increase too. once the price reach $3xxx, soon we can see the price is jump into new level of price.

yes that is right and i am sure that now bitcoin price will trade at such level tell 1st August and after that the price of bitcoin will gain accelerator and will certainly cross 4000$ in few days and after that bitcoin price will continue heading toward 5000$ level and it is also expected that at the end of 2017 the price of bitcoin will be trading above 5000$.

I even prepared money to buy bitcoin in late July for a very cheap price. But bitcoin was unpredictable and recovered much earlier than I had expected. Now I regret that I did not buy bitcoin at a time when the price dropped to 1,900 dollars
