Huge part of my WiC tokens was stolen from Etherium wallet!
https://ethplorer.io/tx/0xf991bce92f86e3e890fc1ec0bdf35bf746fc1d6aed24182d07884202a63f4ed2

Have no ideas how wallet was compromised.
I can't use Google 2FA because simply don't have any Android device. And JSON file wasn't good enough Sad

How did this happen? Which ETH wallet did you use to store the coins? Can you be more elaborate what went wrong? I guess your pc was infected which led to this cause.

So, hope it helps someone. Some details:

1. It was MEW wallet.
2. Nothing special happens last month.
    No transactions.
3. WiC was bought on ICO and stored here from this time
4. There was just very little ETH on wallet AND! someone send 0.01 ETH, withdraw WiC and after that withdraw rest of ETH (0.0088)

This thief:
https://etherscan.io/address/0x5e4abe6419650ca839ce5bb7db422b881a6064bb
works right now with tons of transactions every 3~5 minutes!

Don't know what to do to stop it

Some additional info:

1. For people with very specific computer's environment like me.
MAA (Microsoft Azure Auth.) still exist. Now it just change name to Microsoft Authenticator. You can download it from MS Store.
Now I add 2FA everywhere (don't know it is possible before).

2. This robbery looks very strange.
Not as plain transaction from my wallet to other.

It is more looks like smart contract work. Which collect WiC's from wallets.
Hope Lambo will comment this situation. Because there is possible holes in WiC platform.

And I think everyone with WiC on ETH wallets should check it's balances.

The minimum was 200 WiC in the begining. So I assume 271 its ok. I sent.

Just a couple of questions.

-You didn't made any transactions you said last month, but did you log in to MEW with your json file (or any other means)?
-you mention the thief as https://etherscan.io/address/0x5e4abe6419650ca839ce5bb7db422b881a6064bb
but the transaction you showed was:
https://ethplorer.io/tx/0xf991bce92f86e3e890fc1ec0bdf35bf746fc1d6aed24182d07884202a63f4ed2
that has as receiving address:
https://ethplorer.io/address/0x4f00b95c625c6d6ef72748d78c750fd6c84a8b85
Are you sure about that 0x5e4 address?

that 0x4f address just has 2 WiC transfers:
on 2017-11-20:
https://ethplorer.io/tx/0x0dd179d358b194c7cc05bcd6a0455ee0869b693c63030ce17214bdeac5352abc#pageSize=25
and yours 2018-01-05:
https://ethplorer.io/tx/0xf991bce92f86e3e890fc1ec0bdf35bf746fc1d6aed24182d07884202a63f4ed2#pageSize=25

however, address 0x4f00b95c625c6d6ef72748d78c750fd6c84a8b85 contains a lot of different tokens it looks like it is most likely that you are phished and not caused by a fault in a contract as it would give a lot more WiC transactions to that address.

As 0x5e4abe6419650ca839ce5bb7db422b881a6064bb just brings you to the token/contract address that gives an overview

edit: the date of the transactions were wrong by mistake

Hi Stroto

Yes, I've used JSON for login in December. On real MEW site.

I just read 0x5e4 in transaction details. As sm.contract which do all this process.
And yes my WiC was transferred to 0x4f - which is end point of the theft.

About fishing, etc.
I never do anything what described as fishing. For last ten years at least. Always check where and what I'm doing.

So, now I change almost everything: wallets, passwords, methods of authentication, e-mail's for recovery, etc.
It was much more painful than just 25K of WiC's  Sad

it is just that 0x5e4 shows ALL wic transactions legit and nonlegit. The focus should lay on the first receiving address 0x4f.

That is the most annoying part, but before you change all just ran your system on malware etc. but I assume you already did that.

Hey everyone,

We have published another update for the Android app which should make the app now work seamlessly and without any issues. Google login issue has been fixed, first start tutorial has been added, maps load much quicker with all access points displayed and some under the hood improvements.

Thanks and have a happy new year Smiley

We should make a move to get CryptoWi listed on CryptoBridge.  I will send a message to the support team on Twitter.
Thanks yourself and all the best with CryptoWi.  Excellent project with great potential.

Is there any updates from the dev, I don't hear anything by him. What makes the price pump?

i am happy now ,hold my tokens in wallet ,long time never see them .
Theyre not active in this thread anymore, but maybe in other media like twitter or telegram? you should check it.
the last information for WIC and their last twitter tweets in november, while facebook posts last in september. but I think the team is still working because there are good signs for WIC coin price increases. I hope the WIC team post their work activities so that people and communities trust them more and can ease up the price

I am not surprised the Dev's are not wasting time responding to all the pointless requests.  Someone posted something at the end of december.  Please stop spreading misinformation and filling up the thread with nonsense.  Thanks.

Ho scaricato l'app, ma non funziona, sul sito non è stato trovato il white paper. Il team sul sito non è elencato. Un'idea molto interessante, ma come si può investire con poca fiducia?

I think Cryptobridge is not the right choice to increase trading volume of CryptoWi.
Maybe if it could be listed in a kucoin or Binance, it would be better Smiley
