I think it's genuine, and I have tokens in my account. Whether they're worth $200 though is another matter. They're not tradeable as yet.

1. I think the giveaway was only for the first x sign-ups. Can't remember how many, but it was low. Might have been first 100.
2. Looks clean to me, too. Also nothing shows up on my virus scanners.

you can call it as an airdrop other ICO do it also or you can call it a bounty sign up same when you see an ICO giving token when you sign up to their slack channel free token is free.

• Who are the people behind this site? All the information they provide us with is:

  Basically that tells us exactly nothing about the team and they stay anonymous
• What is there USP? The answer they give is rather meaningless and non-informative. It contains some nice buzzwords but in the end it tells us nothing(again):

  Our platform uses artificial intelligence to create and deploy smart contracts onto the blockchain.
  We believe that combining AI with our talents overseeing every stage of the process, we can create the next generation of blockchain technology, that simplifies the blockchain and makes it viable for mass adoption by the public. It's like a drag and drop tool to power your blockchain.

• They claim their tokens have a certain value, based on nothing but their claim. They can't be traded and no ICO price had been realized yet.
• No whitepaper, no source code, no wireframes, no demo, not even screenshots of a product exist.
• While fiddling with the website yesterday I found some hosting related data in a piece of json in a webpage. I scratched out some sensitive data but you can see it contains creditcard related data, including an email address. It also contains hosting plan related stuff and apparently the hosting options they picked are pretty cheap:

• The site looks like someone took some effort to build it, but it is a point-and-click solution website builder (look at the source code)

Nothing can happen from just signing up, you get 50 free tokens that they say you can soon withdraw to your waves wallet.
It's a platform that aims to reduce the scam ICO's. That's good. Even if it is fake, show your support by signing up, because if it isn't fake, this could be big.

At the moment they aren't asking peoples to deposit money.
Scam or not, you still can claim some free tokens, even if they become worthless, I'm not worry to try.

If you're afraid for your credentials, just remember to have 1 password per website, and not a derivative of an existing password.
You can also setup an exclusive tutanota email for this website.

If someday the site ask for money deposits, just don't.

In short, there is a website (Coinstarter.com, please don't post your referral links in this thread) that claims to give everyone who signs up ~$200 worth in tokens.

However, since all threads are deleted there is really not that much information to be found. My thoughts are the following:

1. It's real - Unlikely, since you can create thousands of fake accounts and it would cost them millions
2. The website has a virus - Virustotal shows a clean website, but I'm a bit worried about this since I did visit it
3. It's a scam - They'll use the registered email addresses/passwords and try it out on all exchanges
4. It's a misunderstanding/dillusion - You'll get Coinstarter tokens worth $200 based on the ICO price. In practice, they might be worth $0.001 on exchanges.

Curious to get your thoughts and whether I should be worried for visiting the website!

These new websites are more likely to be scams than anything else. Addressing your points :

Firstly, it couldn't be real at all since $200 worth tokens for registering would open the floodgates for multi accounting.
Secondly, don't think the site is infected, as the only way it could infect users who visit the site would be either by running a script which would prompt you to add a browsers extension or plain making you download an infected file.
Thirdly, this is the biggest possibility as many sites just attract new users to register and grab their usernames password to try on all sites.
Lastly, this isn't possibility to be honest. Coming off a highly successful ICO, prices will go up and they'll be giving out lots which isn't the case here.

I don't know about that its a scam or not.
But they were giving away like $100 worth of coins yesterday and the website was the slowest one on the internet, but I didn't signup for the giveaway as the idea didn't really got my attention.

Totally agree, it's a very big money only for sign up and there is no control for creating some new accoounts per one person.
