Giga Watt is the most honest hosting service I'm aware of, see me sig or search coindesk for articles about their history. If you find a better offer make sure it's trustworthy there have been cases of "hosting companies" stealing everyone's equipment. Avoid cloud mining companies like the plague, they are either scam or you will never ROI which is basically scam.

I rent a small commercial space and run the miners in the back of it - the front is my "man cave".

If you don't have many miners, keep them home and calculate your electric bills. If you are at a point where it's cheaper to rent a warehouse than to pay high-rate bills, do that !

"Move to commercial space" is often dictated by the limit of noise that it tolerable for home mining, or the limit of heat management, or by the limit of AVAILABLE electric to a particular residence - rates are NOT always lower, and sometimes are HIGHER on "small business" rates vs "residential" rates from a particular power company.

We have the majority of ours in a room out in our barn that was renovated for mining purposes. Thankfully space with adequate ventilation/airflow is not an issue for us at this point. We re nearing the limit electricity wise for the circuit panel out in the barn, so any significant expansion in the future would require either designating a room in the house for mining or add another panel out in the barn.

Room temperature went up to 43°C.. Do you have anything set up to exhaust all that hot air outdoors? With good airflow 5 rigs shouldn't make the room quite that hot..... although hot ambient temp here would be ~30C, if you live in a warmer climate it's definitely tougher.

Any advice on efficient A/C units for this purpose? Blow cool air in room on one side and vent hot air out on the other? Right now my electricity bills are topping $1k and I need to address the heat better bc ny house AC is running 24/7 and I'm gonna burn it out if I keep this up.

at home but with that much rig i'll rent something asap because its getting way to hot in there. Even with A/C and blower temp is at 28~35 during summer. Two weeks ago my old A/C died, the room went to 40+, that was crazy.. lol Card are at 50-55 for nvidia / 60-65 for amd..

I'm plan on going the route of a basement room with 100% outside air recirculating in warmer times of the year. I just plan on separating the air intake and air output. Then reroute in the winter for heating the house. I know some are concerned about summer humidity,,, but i'm not sure that humid climate actually have any negative effect on electronics?

me, and my friend renting a dedicated room for miners, also we did ventilation system, and we made shelves for rigs So, you need to pay to get good space for miners, otherways you can't expand your equipment...

Just at home. Non transparent glassed balcony with good airflow from the outside. Even in "hot" summer (no more than 30C) GPU's temperature was no more than 65C. The only problem is input breaker that limits spendable power to miners

Yea and I've also got an 80A 240V electric car charger that I have to also take into account...

I rented a shed with electricity right around my house. Run all the rigs with 2 portable AC units. They run 24/7 and never had one go over 74C. I started them at the basement but the electricity bill went up$100 month with only 2 rigs and one portable AC unit. #R9280Xisthedevil

What's your chip temp and all? Adds more to the electric bill right
