I still keep my lonely miner at home, used to keep them at home when they were 2 full rigs too, sold one because temps were getting too high for my liking.

i am using 200kWp PV panels combined with 24/7 30kW mining equipment ... i guess after 1 year the solar %tage is going to be not more than 30% ...

what is the most comfortable way to store miners?
Do you still keep them at home, did you rent warehouses? What is the most conventional way and cheapest?

For me, I'd just get a separate room solely for miners only at home, setup a good ventilation Fresh Airflow in and hot Air out, in this way I could easily manage heat and probably noise, What challenge me is the Electrical power lines that needs to do another separate line as I don't like to use the Household lines already in place.

you better add ventilation or you will bake them.

If you put the antminers directly in front of the open windo and the air can blow out, its possible to put about about 10 inside.
But you need another hole or something in the wall to get fresh air ...

We have a similar situation and have 6 s9 blowing out :-)

At my office. Here government charge a lot for residential electricity usage.

I hope you own the office or at least pay for the electricity you are consuming.

Anyway to answer the question, i for one am storing my miners at my residential home. This way, i get a free reboot watchdog (our house helper) and at the same time I get to modify and optimize my miner whenever i want. Just make sure that if you're keeping it at home you have safety precautions just in case of fire.

My basement, living in the UK so it's pretty cold in the winter, no need for external cooling. I run on low power limit so it's not that loud.

I am currently relying on my own home in running the mine even though the cost of electricity must be too much but not an obstacle for me to continue to try it out at once there is a very strong conviction to become a successful person will be the main driving factor.

Anyone live in the Florida area, or of similar climate? Thinking of putting my miners into an enclosure and fixing up one of the small "offices" in my barn to store them, just unsure if they would overheat, even with good ventilation. Anyone in these areas posting pics/ideas would be great thanks

I live in texas so yes its no problem but make sure you add a ton of ventillation.  I have 9000 cfm in my 120 square foot room running 30 miners in that house.  2 other houses running 20 each have 6000 cfm

I used to mine in South Carolina (Charleston), so I think I can speak a little about that. In hotter areas ventilation is especially important, it's good to install several fans in wherever you are keeping your miners and they'll run fine(large ones with high CFM are good for low noise, remember to have airflow in and out). Also remember to test for a little bit after you finish setting things up to make sure you truly have everything done right.

I keep them in my parents house. I get free power since they pay for electricity anyway. Gives me an initiative to come and visit them with my kids from time to time and also provide them free heating during winter time.  Grin
