Strategies won't always let you win and in my opinion there is no such thing as strategy. It is based on pure luck and a little bit of thinking. If luck tends to favour you, you will win. Else you end up losing.

Strategies and luck connection is two scenario because if you are playing both then you will have a experience win. If you are having one of them then you will have luck to win.

From gambling i think i got a lot lessons about taste. Like patience, regulating emotions, and learning to take risks without fear of loss. That's pretty useful for my life to apply in my daily life. I cant agree that the only benefits from gambling is only about winning. There are other benefits (at least for me), it can make me relax from a hard day's work or other personal problem. With gambling I can forget my problem for a while because I get some fun while gambling especially when I play a game where I can interact with other players such as poker.

I guess all the gamblers should come out of the belief of making quick money from gambling. Well if you're saying that you're forgetting your problems when you gamble, what do you do with a loss? You lose money and there's nonfun in losing money at all. This depend on what is your purpose in gambling.  If in first hand we already accepted the fact that we will lose and that our main purpose is to remove stress, then we can never lose our cool in playing, unless there is a change of heart during the session and instead of having fun, we tend to win and get profit then we will more likely to get frustrated.  Gambling can help in diverting attention from your current problem when it is too much to handle, but of course you must face the problem and solve it before it get out of hand.
