For those who regrets not joining stratis during their ICO. this is another opportunity for you to join an ICO that may be bigger than even stratis. ICO ends in 3 days. To join https://nebl.io/?raf=ref7959264

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Does anyone else really hate the referral program? I see it as a huge red flag. Has any other blockchain company needed to use that?

Walmart, Alibaba and Amazon all run affiliate programs and they make up a huge proportion of global retail. An affiliate/referral program is not a red flag in itself. It's an affordable way for startups to bootstrap their marketing.

I get your point. However each project choses how best to do their marketing. Referral in itself is another form of marketing. Its unfornate that it can sometimes be misused. However Neblio goal is to reach as many people as possible to engage in this project.

I get quickly turned off when I see a shill like vetived22 post 50% of the comments.
If you have invested, especially larger amount, you shouldn't be posting so much, you are just shilling and your word can not be trusted.
Dont take this personally, it is just too obvious not to point out.

Not 50 %. Not even close. But Posting referral links in this thread where people have already heard about Neblio is really not okay, and he/she should not be rewarded for it.

So I ended up downloading the PC version of the wallet and successfully received my coins. The app is as advertised in terms of ease of use. I'm a bit confused on the security aspect though. Obviously with ERC based tokens, you have your address and a private key. On the Neblio network, it doesn't appear to use private keys. So how would I go about placing my tokens in cold storage and then retrieving them down the road when the IOS wallet comes out?
And if I did decide to do staking, what is the staking rate?
Thanks

Hi ashcoins, join our #slack its easier for us and dev to answer your question. But stake % is 10% / year. Your coin is grouped and each time this group minted a stake, the counter is reset and your stake % will depend of the network weight. Nebliodev can easily answer this #slack https://nebl.io/slack

You have to encrypt your wallet with a passphrase. After, you can unlock your wallet (using your passphrase) for stake only (output transaction will ask for your passphrase for security)

Listen Junior...I do not need to invest large amount in order to support a project that i truly see great potential. If you are turned off, then thats your problem. and when idiot like you say don't take it personal then it simply shows how stupid your brain is. What does investing much has to do with supporting a project dump ass?. well i joined this project a week ago as an investor i see its potential and am passionate about the team and believe they can deliver. if you have a problem with that, go fuck yourself. By the way my name is vatived22 not vetied22 asshole.
