At the time you posted this it was a great time.

Now one needs to add some critical analysis to the mix instead of assuming ETH will just bounce back.  Its rise coincided with ICOs running through its system and people having to buy $20 to $50 million worth of either.  Take that with 40-50 ICOs hitting in one day and you can see how this baby shot to $1200 per coin.  Now with the slow down and other competing blockchains coming up that will run ICOs on them you have to take that into consideration .

for the purpose of fee/gas, my answer is yes, the price of ethereum is currently so affordable that i bought it a lot, the coin is always stable under bitcoin with positive increase rate, albeit slower but will not change anything because all projects need it for transactional tokens erc-20/smart-contract.
