I am deeply afraid and also worried about hardfork update on August 1st.  Every traders and investors are waiting and hoping for the better. Let us wait what will happen before and after August 1st.

Well most of the bitcoin community are worried about the hardfork update on August 1st others are loosing their hope but if we have trust to bitcoin then lets this issue pass and just hold on... We are all in this together whatever happen bitcoin will surpass all these drama.

I have read now from different sources that a "replay" attack on the opposite chain of what is used first is a concern, even though BCC claims to have replay protection.  I guess the replay protection won't protect the other chain.  ( and right now I am more concerned for my BTC safety).  Again, Coinbase is looking real smart as we approach the 1st, and I guess other exchanges have followed their lead.

So if you use one (BTC or BCC, opposites have been discussed) there is a chance you can lose the other...  is that correct???

I am not going to touch either for a couple weeks until this all settles.

In the first place,  why should I get worry about it, in fact I'm not concern what will happen in that date.
That's ridiculous it shouldn't be entertain by anyone but that's not what other's do here instead they entertained it. So the result in the end they are swallowed by the rumors and hearsay. what a poor one...

I want time to fly fast so that this August 1 date will pass by so quickly. By that time, everyone will realize that everything is all part of a coin's life and that worrying shall also pass and that it did not actually help.

But I already store all my bitcoins on cold storage, so it should be fine, right?
I personally don't want any "free" BCC from exchanges.
But lots of ppl says that after they got BCC, they'll dump it like hell.

There will be very less impact on the price, an overwhelming support has already been given and thats why the price went back to its previous state. People are worried what if the BitcoinCash becomes the top coin which is highly impossible.

I'm being neutral or what can I say exactly being illiterate about the situation. This makes me relaxed and I don't want to understand what is going to happen. I have followed directions as given by forum administrators that is to save funds in the wallet for which I have private keys. So I have done it and rest is up to the tech people's.

Honestly I don't feel any bit afraid about August 1. I am actually expecting changes to happen soon it's just that this year is the year it's happening. But this is also for the betterment and progression of bitcoin and everyone will benefit out of this too. Just make sure to secure your wallets with 2fa before the said event.

Im not worried for Aug 1. People will surely support the goodness of bitcoin and it will emerge with high price. I completely trust bitcoin. But for now i cant predict the future of bitcoin. the only thing we can do is wait and watch some more days. Bitcoin will be king as it is now. Just trust bitcoin and think the best about it.

Initially I was panicky about what was to happen, then news came there would be no spilt as such and now towards the end bcc reared it's ugly head but now I don't feel it will matter cause I don't see them doing any harm, they will last for a week or so and dissappear, I would advise caution and not to trade tomorrow and day after and suspend all receiving till mid week, keep your coins locked in a secured wallet and sit back and watch the drama.

Honestly, I just take it positive. You guys should hold your bitcoin in right now, or withdraw your BTC from exchange to an external wallet address under export private keys option during this event as literally no online wallet is safe. I support because of faster transaction, lower fees and further improvements.

I'm a little bit worried because we don't know what will be the outcome after Aug. 1. But we need to face it and we need to have faith that bitcoin will increase more than what we  expected.

I'm a little worried about what could happen on August 1st bu I'm a little Optimistic and pumped, maybe because I'm holding on the thought that after the split, bitcoin will give us better opportunities than what it is giving now. I also think that this is a great solution for the huge transaction fees that we are paying in our every transactions so because we'll be using bitcoin for so long, this could be better for us.

There will definitely be money lost to replay attacks. I'm genuinely surprised that there is so much interest in this airdrop, and I'm sure many don't understand the risks of replay attacks. It's really too bad... If the fork hadn't been so rushed, there would have been time to properly add and test replay protection.

Pretty excited, although I won't be affected as I have spent all my BTC beforehand a long time ago. I am waiting to see what happens and I will be restarting my BTC career soon after Aug 1. Hope everything plays out for the good of BTC!
