Finally Salt woke up at trex after shaking up the weak hands and those who were not ready to have patience for few days. It is still in warm up mode and has to grow a lot as space in the room is lot more than this. It can keep going up or can see new floor before climbing up more in few days.

I said the same thing about ANS/NEO before it went to $55. I settled for 3x when I could have had 10x if I just was little more patient. I won't be making the same mistake with SALT. I'm fine waiting as long as the potential for real gains exists.

I've the same strategy, if you trust a project give it some time. I bought some Antshares/Neo at 0.85$, also some Ark at ~0.07$ and I am still holding. Of course there are also projects which have decreased since I've invested.
Don't sell too early, you will regret.

I bought a huge bag of ether in the $0.50 to $0.75 and I sold a large amount of it at around $7.50 and thought I was doing well --->over 10X! But, look at it now!  These opportunities don't come around every day ---> small risks ---> large rewards!

Probably serious and even then a horrible attempt at FUDing a thread. I too think Salt has massive potential in the future as a platform and will hodl my coins until I see the true value realized. One

thing I dont quite understand is how there is such a discrepancy from retail price to exchange price. Wouldnt it stand to reason that the exchange price would work towards the retail price?

Anybody else having problems signing up on the saltlending dashboard?  For some reason the authentication key for the 2FA isn't being recognized by the authenticator so I cannot get a the code to authenticate my login for registration.

Well, SALT has a bright future if it can be implemented in regions like Southeast Asia where the percentage of unbanked population is staggering... Even though there are companies which are trying to put financial products like credit cards and cash cards closer to population like http://www.umayplus.com/cashcard/, there's still a long way to go. That company is in Thailand, but am pretty sure that there are similar alternatives in other countries of the region.

as it seems they are moving towards real-world integration pretty well, so if they gain terrains in regions like Southeast Asia, then things will get even better.

It is a long-term hold, and I'm glad I had the chance to buy under ICO price . I will simply hold it and forget about it, because it has a real-world use, the team is pretty good and yeah if they do things correctly then the project will succeed.
