The idea is great (Loan Platform) - its similar to ONIX. ONIX can be used for daily payments in stores and transactions are very very fast ... Lets hope they implement it right, it could be a big hit !

This coin at least has some direction, and this is the most critical part of the project!, and everyone is jumping ship before the quarter is even over.  It's hilarious, but great.  Drives the price of the coin right down, so we can buy more.

Looks like Salt is getting more and more popular around the world and this is just the beginning. And proper marketing is not even started.

So after reviewing the prebuy options I am left to think that many people purchased salt at $5 . Is this correct ? So if I buy it now while it is under $4 I am getting it cheaper than some prebuys ?

I have only done preliminary research into this but it is available for US citizens but isn't this obviously going to be classified as a security

No, the team was very careful about defining their token so it will have no problems passing the Howey test. It is considered a "membership" token, not ---> a security as described in SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION v. W. J. HOWEY CO., (1946). (http://caselaw.findlaw.com/us-supreme-court/328/293.html)

so this is a financing system similar to bitconnect? i guess its cost could still go up once consciousness regarding their platform spreads plus they gain more users

Sorry, but your assumption is wrong ... bitconnect and salt are completely different and you cant compare them. Wink

We added Salt Lending to the Cheddur app (https://www.cheddur.com/)! This will allow new users to learn about Salt Lending and join the community. Cheddur allows you to link wallets, exchanges, and other services that support SALT tokens so that new users can easily get started. You can also review the project and post your SALT addresses on your profile to receive tips / payments / donations in SALT from other users Smiley

Can others from the community please review the profile for quality and help us add supported services? The more active the Salt Lending profile is (via user reviews and addresses), the higher it ranks in search results and the more likely newcomers are to discover the Salt Lending project!

Curious so it has salt listed as a $25 platform value on their website, does this mean that salt tokens have a $25 effect as collateral for a loan received or --?

Nowhere in your link does it reference the word member or membership being excluded from this. This makes is seem more like a ponzi scheme when you use the word membership.

Can someone address the Huge disparity between the current trading price and the price Salt is selling memberships for ?

Hello Everybody,Just a quick update:The gold coin exchange did not go as planned. Some unexpected things have put their hands up which apparantly could simpy bepredicted whenever we established issues moving, therefore we have currently delayed the swap. We don't wish to danger losing data that could possibly imply we don't know what coins belong to who (in offline wallets). This only denotes that everything continues to be it was un il recommendaions a strategy to move ahead.Remain updated for additional updates! All the best,Jensltt

What does this have to do with Salt?

Exactly! ---> A membership token is not a security.  The Howey test is a ruling that defines SECURITIES.  The SEC regulates SECURITIES, not MEMBERSHIPS, thus the agency's name, the Security and Exchange Commission.  And, nowhere in the classification of felines does it mention that a dog or canine is excluded from the group, but that doesn't mean that a dog is a cat.  It doesn't specifically explain to us that a dog is not a cat because it can be deduced that a dog does not fit the classification of a feline.

Just go to an exchange where SALT is listed on, like Bittrex or Binance (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/salt/#markets) and sell it there for BTC or whatever you want.
There's no need to risk a scam here.

Expensive dev i strongly suggest that you create a FAQ section many people are new and wish to display interest in the coin but it leads to spamming.

Very good Idea, I didn't even know that Europe wasn't accepted.
