Why do they disregard transgenders? I mean, there is no gender when we talk about doing your best to serve the people. A soldier don't need to be measured by how the way they look but how the way then can protect the civilians. There are even soldiers who are straight up boys and girls but can't do their job correctly.

Most people don't think of serving in the military as a right, it's more of a duty or something that you do if you're in a bad situation in life. At least if there is a war going on. Anyway there are many reasons for why someone can be unfit for duty. Actually, you could look at it in a different way and say that transgenders are getting an unfair advantage by not being allowed in the military. Think of how many people get messed up mentally and physically from the military!

This is a good decision. Because if they are drafted in to the army, then the transgenders will ask for special privileges such as separate toilets for them. And the military might find it hard to accommodate all their demands. When they decide to become transgenders, these people forfeit certain rights. The possibility of becoming a soldier is one of those rights.

I think transgender in military is not good idea, usually the mentality of transgender is not the same with normal people, and then usually there will be a pressure from the other guy, like teasing or bullying, and it can create an awkard condition for all people

Not all soldiers go to war, some of them secure a country and it's civilians. They protect people and serve the country not kill people just because they want to, everything has a reason.

So I can say that forbidding them from joining the army has a good reason. Transgenders carry a big burden ever since they did the surgery to become a transgender, but it is not a reason to forbid them to serve the country and it's nation. They just changed their way of life, they did not changed their way of thinking.

I agree with you and respect transgenders as long as they pick up the rifle next to me when someone starts shooting my way! I think that's the attitude to have as well especially considering how much money the Dept. of Defense spends on Viagra every freaking year. Way more than they spend dealing with Transgender folks. This is the real problem. Donald Trump thinks himself as the King of United States. In democracy, everything has a protocol. No offence to the Transgender community but I too think military is not the place for sexual equality.

Yeah.... These transgenders may be of good use in places such as Syria and Libya. The Islamists will be horrified at the very sight of naked shemale soldiers with huge boobs and 9-inch long dicks holding guns.
