I think transgender can serve in military. As long as they are willing and dedicated to serve the country. As long as they wouldnt ask for special treatment that may hindder the job in serving the country.I respect them because i do believe that advancement or refinement of a country doesnt require gender.

There need special conditions for them. This leads to increased costs. Why do they need if you have normal soldiers? I am not a supporter but Tump in this direction, I support it. The army is not a place where you can play in democracy.

I feel the US should just have two presidents, one Pres for everything gender/sex/SJW related, and the other Pres for the important stuff like diplomacy, grand strategy and economy.

There's like what? a total of less than 100 transgender in the whole country that want to join the military? If the President spend any time on this issue, it's a huge waste of resource and tax payer money. There are tons of more pressing and important issues facing the United States.

This is what I never understood about the bathroom ban nonsense. For my 31 years on this Earth, I have never been in a restroom with a transgender person, nor do I know anyone who has. Furthering that, I have met a single actual transgender person; dude looks like a lady and to be real, you would not be able to tell. Bottom line is, transgendered folks, knowing the social climate they exist in, are pretty low key individuals. Aside from the fact they compose less than half of a percent of the human population. I dont like to see anyone get discriminated against, but truly there is more important shit to talk about at the moment, no?

Yes, yes. In my country there are no such legislation, people just do what they need to do, it's not like they'll stay for an hour in the restroom. I've never seen a butch lesbian in the men's restroom but I've seen a gay in dress on one or two occasions and no man in there gave a fuck. I actually expected snickers when he/she left but there was none, they just don't care.

Back to the topic in America, I doubt if all those people crying out that trans people shouldn't be in the military ever plan joining. If they did, they'd be more respectful probably.

These people are actually pretty couragious coming out considering how society sees them. If they're capable, i don't see any reason why they shouldn't be accepted. We have women in the military who sometimes are even more capable than men. If these people want to serve their country, let them.

Much better if they won't allowed them, it may cause some confusion on military because not everyone will accept their being. It is also for their own safety, they might be bullied by other soldier that can lower their morale. In the first place, you don't have to change your gender in order to join the military if you really want to, because there are male and female soldiers to begin with.

I totally disagree with you. Transgenders are not mentally challenged people, they were just born on a body that is different from the real sexuality they feel. I know a lot of transgender people and they are really successful with their chosen path. And allowing them to join the military is not that big deal because they might do better than those straigt people.

Transgenders are not sure about their sexuality. They were born as a male and they want to identify as a female (or vice versa). When they are not even sure about their gender, how can they make important decisions on the front-line?

Precisely! Anyone can serve the military as long as they undergone proper training and all that comes to serve the military and the country regardless of the gender preference of the person who is willing to do all the things that he or she can for the country. I mean being transgender doesn't mean that you are less of a person. Sometimes, transgender people can do more than the straight ones. So, let us not underestimate the strength and willingness of the transgender people to serve the military and the country but instead, let us support them and believe in them.

Though i am not a supporter of LGBT I think Donald Trump signing a directive to ban the entry of transgernders into the USA Military is not a good idea and he has also banned the Department of Defense from using its resources to provide medical treatment for transgender individuals currently serving in the military, This is a way for him to force them out of the military as a whole. I see some people going to courts very soon to counter this.

That's discrimination, being a transgender doesn't make them less of a person. They have all the capabilities that is maybe more than those straight people have. As far as I know they are talented and independent and were good in the fields that they were in.
