When I die, before that happens I will teach my children to manage my bitcoin. And I've done that to the right to continue my bitcoin that has been running.

Yes me too, I also teach my kids about to manage my account in bitcoin, teaching them is good opportunity cause we know we cannot predict tomorrow in our lives so we need to be prepared. I tell them if something happens to me they will know to manage an account, that account for there future.

It is very important to teach someone close to us to know about it maybe your husband ,  It is true that we have lost a huge number of Bitcoins so far and hence as a user we should make some provision for the treatment of our crypto wealth after our death.

if we pass on our crypto wallet to our children or our heirs, if we die then we have inherited our precious assets. and will not be a treasure.

If we die then our bitcoin money dies with us, it will be irretrieveable forever unless you pass them for other people to take advantage of. Wallets should have a feature where you can "memorialize" your account to be able to retrieve by a family member by supplying proof I guess just like in Facebook when someone dies.
Teaching a family member or any relative or peer is really helpful.

As I think, when we die, the property code can still be there.

If the owner of the bitcoin dies, no one will ever be able to use it. Not unless may be if the private key is retrieved. They will be left on the blockchain certainly untouched. So if you want sonebody to secure it maybe entrust it to your family so that if anything happens to you they can get it.

..i agree in you..if we think that we are living as soon as bitcoin is already reached its last value,,then good for us..but the saddest part of it,,is that we don't how long will going to stay in the future..maybe our next generation will continue what we have started..so while it is early,,let us pass and share our crypto wallet on our children or our prospective heirs so that we don't only find our hard work as a treasure but as heirs on our children.

Nope, this is no existential question (although...). Everybody's talking about "When will Bitcoin die", but what if you die, and your family don't find your key, or don't understand it, or think it's only a useless sheet of paper with some code on it, or simply throw it away... Does this mean the currency's gone forever?

I find the possibility of this event rather realistic (yup I don't believe in eternal life), so that means that someday there might be 21M BTC but only 18M (and counting down...) is left in the market?
If you die and if none of your family members nor friends don't know how to access your account all of your holdings will be useless, so better teach one of your family members on how to access on your account and about bitcoin for it will not be waste.

I already teach my brother and my parents too and so far, they can understand how to use bitcoin. I think we need to do this if we want to give the bitcoin and let them continue what we have done so they could still make money for their life. and if I die, I want to donate some bitcoin that I have for the charity and for my family especially when they are ready to continue for searching another way to earn more bitcoin to them.

Coins will be on your wallet forever if you wouldn’t teach someone before your death how to use wallet/ And don’t forget to leave the key and then rest in peace. Grin

As a solitary bitcoiners in the family I thoroughly agreed with you on that, we will never know whether when we will be our last day in this world. Furthermore, I think I need to leave a printed material besides or show one of my relatives even only a piece of information that may enough for them to recover my bitcoin in a wallet yet I know wouldn't be a simple undertaking. In any case, I thank you for opening it up, I simply have made a thought for this issue nearby.

Of course our coin coin will not be usable again. And we can no longer get the coin we want, it causes us to be dead or no longer in this world. But if we have children or family, we can still pass on our coin coins to all of them. They will continue us.  Smiley

Right, the coins will definitely not be restored forever. That's really the reason why plans about their coin recovery in these situations are the reason for the forums. And right, when the end of mining is actually going to be lower than the total of coins it is moving.

Let's be realistic. if we die, no one's going to benefit your Bitcoin or your altcoins. so it's better if you have a plan on giving them to your loved ones or relatives just in case you die. I'm sure that they will remember you as long as they live. who knows, maybe you made them rich by giving them all your crypto.

If you are wise enough of course you already know what will happen if die. You need to plan everything like message plan that if you die they will send your information to your loved ones.

This is a very interesting question. I care about this problem too. So I taught my parents to use my private keys and work with exchanges.

I think you can write Bitcoin's private key in your will. If your family can understand what it is, of course, you have to explain it in advance, otherwise 100 BTC is also worthless for them if your family will not play cryptocurrency.

well i think Then it will be gone forever.  No one can access it since you or anyone who have access to it eventually die without formally transferring the knowledge he have.  And it will affect the bitcoin available in circulation.  It will be dead since no one can use it or retrieve it.  So better thing to do is to teach your kids or anyone in the househould about bitcoins and That's really the reason why plans about their coin recovery in these situations are the reason for the forums. And right, when the end of mining is actually going to be lower than the total of coins it is moving
