Sorry for posting this in the noob section, but I wish to remain anonymous for now.  Please move to Alt section.

Block rewards in order:
1 - 200 Block @ 10000 GLD (START Mining – They will go fast)
201 - 2200 Blocks @ 1000 GLD (should last a day)
2201 - 26200 Blocks @ 500 GLD (should last a week)
26201 - 48700 Blocks @ 400 GLD
48700 - 173700 Blocks @ 200 GLD
173701 - 673700 Blocks @ 100 GLD
~100 million total coins

So basically if you start with diff 0 in less than a day 14% of all coin will be already mined ? tha'ts a complete joke

I just use a simple config like this:

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=*
rpcport=9332  (port can be anything)
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0

 you might also tell them to run wallet as - server Smiley after all newbie section here

Have you send me the 5000 or did I mined it ? Is it the traditionally way to mine, I mean should I start firstly the client in servermode ? How do you do this, please give us a small mining tutorial for GLD.

It won't be 14% of the coins gone in a day.  In a few days if its mined difficulty will go up, and block rewards will go down.  Why do we need 20 years to mine a coin?

Is it better that the big miners heard of it first and mined 14% of the coins through sheer force?  Or better than people are acually getting their hands on some coins.  What usually happens is the big miners come in, difficulty skyrockets, and the ordinary miner sees nothing meaningful.  What I did was try to give the little guy a chance.  I also did not pre-mine the hell out of the coin like most others do, and I have been giving away 5000 GLD to people just for posting their address.  We shall see if its a joke, or a flop.  As I said it was worth a try.

So far GldCoin is the best launch in a week!
