How is GLD so cheap when there's less coins then WDC
There newer. And people are still ranting about the large amount originally released even though the wealth was shared. Could you explain to me the differences between GLD and WDC since I here them used in the same sentence alot and people are for one or the other? I don't want to bash worldcoin, even though I see its supporters, likely aligned with the creator bashing and spreading false rumors about other coins in threads, but I heard of a type of attack that can be used against the quick blocktime/confirmations. Not sure if its true, but you have to ask yourself - why didn't bitcoin or litecoin have such low block times? Anyone could have done it at any time, but never did. Why? its a very simple thing to do. May be a great coin who knows. GLDcoin was revolutionary in that it was the first front loaded coin, done so to spur an economy through donations, giveaways etc. The Creator of Gold Coin has given away nearly 300K in coins. I myself have given away around 50K. It was also revolutionary to release the coin in the Noob section in order to give small miners a chance before the big miners attacked it and caused the orphan fest we see with new releases. If a release doesn't have orphans, then its not really being mined that hard...

Well put thekidcoin. I've given away 30k+ and what I have I've gotten from donations (for projects and such). I haven't given away any. I see some people nagging about the large amount that was released in the beginning but I know I've sent over 100 individual people GLDCoins, helped fund the faucet, ect. I've given away more than I currently own and frankly the way I multiple what I have right now is using bitgrenade.net ... its not that risky if you plan ahead:). I'm really a lot more interested in getting this coin ahead versus making some profit for myself. This is the first time I've been around and paid attention when an AltCoin was released (yes I'm that new), and I want to see it be successful. Frankly even if I made $200, it would be less than minimum wage for me based on the time I've put in to this.

Goldcoin hashrate
{ "blocks" : 15458, "currentblocksize" : 0, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 2.25688488, "errors" : "", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 0, "networkhashps" : 58922527, "pooledtx" : 9, "testnet" : false }
The hashrate is still rising.

where do you find out the hashrate?
Go to your wallet, go to help, debug window, console then type in getmining info and something like this will pop up { "blocks" : 15555, "currentblocksize" : 7590, "currentblocktx" : 14, "difficulty" : 2.25688488, "errors" : "", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 0, "networkhashps" : 47828520, "pooledtx" : 14, "testnet" : false } divide the networkhashps by 1000 to get KH/s then 1000 again to get MH/s
