if you like p2pool instead
Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

I've never used p2pool , can you give a quick summary of what it means and how it works?
I also meant, does it yield more coins mining there than in the VirCurPool?

The command line arguments that works well while using a p2pool, and cgminer:

cgminer --scrypt -o next.afraid.org:8117 -u yourGLDaddress -p . --queue 0 -s 1

And you have a quite interesting guide here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=153232.0;all

Well configured, you can get more coins, and the mined coins are available quickly.

Hey GLD people Grin

If you have the time, you can vote at this post, to have GLD traded on Vircurex:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=215284.new#new

Just let me know that you voted for GLD, and I will pay you 10 GLD.
(up to 100 voters, so I am pledging to pay out 1000 GLD on this one to 100 people who vote)
(GLD has 11 votes, at the time I wrote this. Need more)

Anyone else want to add to the offer?

Today is the day that the Lord has made, lets be glad and rejoice in it

Don't worry, I will pay, but I might be away from the computer at times, so please be patient.

Anyone else want to add to the offer? (for every 1000 you pledge, I will increase the payout to the voters by 10 more GLD )

I think just having "gold" in the name makes this more valuable than the other alt-coin attempts.

A few days ago they said the same about GoldCoin and said it wont even make it on an exchange. We proved them wrong and we will proof them again wrong.

The big community behind GLDCoin is actually what inspires people to join in on it. Im currently working on several projects which include getting GLDCoin more mainstream.

Look for some very big things for GLDCoin in the forthcoming months!
