one question: ontology snapshot is today at approx. 6 pm cet time, but why is the neo price tanking so hard right now? i want to change everything in neo, but the price is dropping. any logic behind that?

yes there is perfect logic, dumping the margin positions, stop losses triggered etc etc,...each fork or airdrop is usualy pumped then dumped, but dont woory if you are a hodler.

So should I move all my NEO to Binance or will I be able to collect the ONT in my neo-gui wallet or will there be a new NEO wallet that accepts ONT ?

NEO-GUI is official wallet from official NEO Website https://neo.org/download so should be no problem with receiving ONT airdrop 👍

make sure you have private key to your Neo wallet, safer than leaving your coins on exchanges

Are there any details known on how they will distribute? Do you need to apply?

• Airdrop ratio: Each NEO will get 0.2 ONT (50% of which are freely tradable and the other 50% are automatically locked).
• The snapshot of NEO addresses will be done at block height 1974823, which is estimated to be at March 1st, 2018, around 5:00 am (Pacific Time).
• Delivery of the first ONT tokens will be completed in the weeks following March 1 (0.1 ONT per NEO). The other locked half (0.1 ONT per NEO) will be using the same snapshot, but will instead be airdropped on the Ontology MainNet. Ontology MainNet is expected to be released in Q2, 2018, specific date depends on how the Ontology TestNet is operating. Further details will be released.

Correct, simply by holding your NEO in an address you control (or on the binance exchange) you will get the ONT airdrop.

ONT airdrop won't happen in one shot but in a week from 1st March further on. And some wallets won't able to see ONT automatically, you will have to set it to see it.

yes u can move it,..not smart to dump it IMO bcs its already dumped, wait some =10/14 % before u switch to some other if at all ...i was rebuying it today bcs it was already dumped hard.

If the GAS is on the blockchain then there was nothing wrong at your end of the transaction, but what you have done wrong was to send GAS to Poloniex an exchange notorious for holding up transactions for weeks, if not months, at a time.
Put in a support ticket with Poloniex then cross your fingers..

Use an exchange like Binance (or Kucoin) for trading Neo/Gas as they give you GAS for any Neo you hold on there exchanges, and they are much better to deal with than Poloniex.
