Hi guys,
I plan to buy-and forget some alts until begining of 2018.
My goal is to make +30%.

Here's my bittrex PTF screenshot (legit)

Opinions with a short explanation why are very welcome.
(PLEASE DON'T TELL ME THE BUY THE SHIT-COINS YOU HODL...)

What kind of adjustments should I do? (note: I also have more ETH on the side in a MEW)
Thanks

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Hi guys,
I plan to buy-and forget some alts until begining of 2018.

Thanks

The very first and important adjustment I would say is take out all those Coins from exchange and put them on individual wallets issued by the project or wallet for which you will hold the private key.

This is a must!! No compromise.

Congratulations, i think this is a well constructed portfolio. I don't see any problem with the number of names you have, it just means you own more race horses. You have platform coins like Ardor, ETH. You have marketplaces like Waves and Bitbay. You have an allocation to the crypto king BTC.

My suggested improvement is that you add at least two privacy coins from this list since it is hard to tell which one will win out and achieve mass scale adoption: Monero, Zcash, Zencash, Zclassic, Aeon, Boolberry, Spectrecoin so that you can benefit from this trend. I think one of the two should be Monero since they seem to have an edge in terms of active development, you can see the number of commits on www.coingecko.com. The other coins besides Monero will be much riskier, but the upside could be greater as well.

The other option for you is to look for a home run on a few lower SAT coins. There are many to choose from, but find a new or reimagined product for a couple hundred SAT or less. Many are POS coins so you can stick them in a wallet and get a 3-5% return on most of them. If you really plan to hold, you only have to be right on one of these coins to see a big profit. Mint, ADC, Hyperstake. All high risk, but low cost coins.

I have some ESP (but not a lot). A line of 0.05BTC in value.
I did not put that in the main page.
I also have 4-5 more remains of trades I need to close: 0.02 BTC of shitcoins here and there.
There is no point seeling them, I'd rather keep and see, at worse I lose $50

Not an Investment. I hve real estate, shares and stocks for that.

Let's call  it a "Shitfolio" if you prefer. (Btw: shitfolio sounds legit for an alt-coins portfolio, I like it)

Hi guys,
I plan to buy-and forget some alts until begining of 2018.
My goal is to make +30%.

this is cryptocurrency market and you are in the altcoin part of it. 30% is what you earn in 1 day or worst case scenario in 1 week. not in 1 year!

look at some of the charts to see how price has been moving for each of these coins that you have "invested" in. and stop trying to hold altcoins, start learning how to trade instead. you buy these coins in the dips when they are low and dump them as soon as they reached their top and take your 30% and invest it in the next altcoin. rinse and repeat. in 1 year you would have a lot more profit and a lot less losses this way.

p.s. the only thing worth holding for long term is bitcoin because it has real world usage and that is growing. the rest are pure speculation tools.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I'd add some ANS/NEO and some XRP. Just my personal preference though, both for the coins themselves and also for having a bit more in higher cap (less risky?) coins.

God, that's a lot of coins you have there.

From what I see, Eth, waves, and dgb will be great for a long term investment.
As for BCH, I'm not really sure about that since it has started [tradable] for a few hours ago.
But let's see and maybe the value will increase in the near future.

The higher the volume, the better.
