Of Course, there is nothing happen with my BTC. Bittrex wallet start normal again SO I can send and receive my BTC. I prefer BTC than BCH. When the network is safe to transact bitcoin because there is no considerable split that make bitcoin crash. I feel safe and I think that's the winning of War nodes between the capitalist and the grassroot. Satoshis are the grassroot represented by bitcoin users. There was plenty of information out there as to where to move your coins or what exchanges would receive BCH on. It was up to you to put that info into action.

The volume and price in bittrex looks like manipulated without a doubt, i am not sure how we could see these kind of high volume in the site when their are not even accepting the deposit address, i am happy with the fork and only after transaction would like know whether i am satisfied.

You control private keys on Electrum, it means that you can take your Bitcoin Cash. You just need to import private keys to a wallet, which supports Bitcoin Cash.

Yes, quite surprising isn't it? If you remember the FUD around here saying that bitcoin is doom or bitcoin will die but yet it have stood another test and see that the price is looking strong at $2700. So many are very happy plus getting free coins then dumping them to buy bitcoin or altcoins making it a profitable and win-win situation for the community. Maybe several months from now we might see bitcoin setting new ATH. Fairly a good year for bitcoin and we have still a quarter to achieve more milestone. Overall most of the members here are satisfied including me.

A huge congratulations for you for your huge risk and luck in the fork that just happened. Well in my case, the changes that happened did not affect me at all since what I am only focused is the price of bitcoins increasing or decreasing. Luckily, the price of bitcoins even managed to increase during the fork and this opened the opportunity for me to invest. Best thing that happened to Bitcoin holders ever since the price jump from $1200 to $2800 is this hard fork, it doesn't have the BTC name so it's an alt coin, we all see all the times what happens to them. while the price is high better to dump them because the same people who forked Bitcoin will soon run out of money to pump it. however it's the same old story, riches got richer. Well August 1st was really a non-event. I think that a lot of people anticipated a lot more chaos than this, and obviously none of that happened which is great in my opinion. Of course the bitcoin cash fork still went ahead but that's another story.

Wait till exchanges start processing BCC deposits - you will see how in a matter of hours the value of this coin will sink real hard. No way this garbage will ever get to experience any sort of significant usage. If you want to know who the real winners of the BCC launch are, then you have the exchanges sitting up front, and those behind this coin. The only positive thing here is that people holding Bitcoin benefit as well, but by the time you are allowed to deposit BCC, you'll be selling at 0.01-0.05BTC. I emptied a few wallets for this, but I don't think I will empty any more of my wallets. It's enough. I managed to sell 10BCC at 0.14BTC, and have now 15BCC sitting in my BCC client waiting to move.

It is obvious that there is no way to tell what will happen as a result of the fork as of yet.

The bitcoin market has never seen any real stability and this fork is supposed to solve that issue hypothetically. There are still too many what if's and unknown denominators that cant be considered yet for the ultimate goal of a worldwide currency in the form of Bitcoin. The problem that you run into trying to stabilize a market globally is that there is no real backing for the currency. For example, Currency is supposed to be  a representation of a country of provinces precious metals or gems, their worth. So the inconsistency of value for a currency that is based on the block difficulty and concurrent farming possibilities is too vague and still unstable. This is where the main issue arises and makes whatever changes moot until more has been uncovered and there is some way to value Bitcoin on a consistent basis.

In all honesty, things have changed, but is it a change that will bring about something that will be beneficial to the stability of the market? or is the fork just putting lipstick on a pig until they figure out a real solution the the issues that bitcoin actually has? Obviously its time to sit back and watch what happens as things progress.

The buying activity was mostly driven by the large holders and they created a pump which made many new traders fall for that. But this is how the market works.

You should be happy instead. All the people who had BTC on wallet find it tough to claim their BCH and were late to the party because no major exchange was allowing BCH transfer plus added fees. Now price would most probably be dumped. You had a great profit instead.

But on the whole BCH doesn't has any major effect on Bitcoin and everyone is happy with their free money.

The interesting thing is that while this split was all over people that disagreed with the changes and coding, it seems that so much it's got wrapped up in the financial issues with the fork that people have forgot completely about those changes. If you stored them on electrum, that means you have BCH still with your private keys. All you have to do is get a bitcoin cash wallet like electron cash or the bitcoinabc wallet. Split already happened, it resuts the existence of bch . Yet it doesn't get big impact. I think the increase of btc its being skyrocketed attracts people to buy since it already proves it ability to survive on crashes and splits. The great thing about August 1st that not only bitcoin got pumped well and BCH gived us some money, but also that all other altcoins have recovered quiet fast and also increased a little bit

yes that is right people were expecting something else from bitcoin which luckily not happen. infact people weere expecting that the price will fell down too much but i think even after 1st August the price of bitcoin continue increasing now we can see that it is trading above 4000$.

Honestly, i am extremely satisfied.

Apart from the fact that i did not have my coins on bittrex which could have been an added bonus, but still. Free money is free money. Plus, there was nothing serious that happened that threatened the future of bitcoin like some people predicted.

I think that is more important that free coins. If 1st August went wrong, then the consequences would have been much more devastating than whether or not someone gets free BCH or not.

I got 2 bitcoin cash not a bad amount i sold them at 600$ each i don't follow the price now but some rogue guy or someone who is rich is playing with the price i see the price has just crossed 700$ which is good. Also about being sad to the people who bought at such a high price is worthless they might have no knowledge but who cares you didn't force them to buy it was their own decision

I am very satisfied with august 1 because it makes a lot of improvement in the price of bitcoin and it is now the reason why the price of bitcoin is already on the top. A lot of people notices bitcoin because of the event in august 1 and also the result of it on the price which is very expensive as of now but as i believe, bitcoin will have more pumps in the future and it will be the one who will be accepted by most of the countries as a legal cryptocurrency.
