Please be advised that I am aware of the issue with the pool and am working to isolate it now.

Please know all of your shares are being counted.

I've isolated the offending queries that were causing full table locks and have discontinued their use for the time being.

To be clear, queries for inserting shares were queued by the database during certain background operations. Once the background operation completed or failed, all shares where inserted.

Just curious, why will he care eventually, I can't seem to figure it out. Do you mean he will care once we hit a lucky streak?

In the end a pool can only give out the BTC it takes in.  Unless it has an endowment.

The pool's mining servers will be shut down in one hour.

Final payments will be made to clear all balances as soon as humanly possible.

Can I ask why you are shutting down the pool? Anyone out there with a good alternative with the low hashrate notifications?

Thanks, I really liked that pool, really sad to see it closed Sad.

I am going to head to http://hhtt.1209k.com/

Thay have support for Amazon AWS services so you can set up notifications for just about anything.

Thanks Giga for running the pool.  I appreciate the effort, It was a good run.  Cheers!

Will we get paid for our PPLNS shares or are those effectively worthless now?

Well, as a previous person said, it was a good run. Thanks for everything Gigavps! Now it's time to move to a different pool.

I hope you keep the back-end running long enough for all the current blocks to confirm and then you can clear our balances out.

Best of luck to you all.

UPDATE

Shutdown of mining servers is complete. I am rebuilding the database locally to be able to create the final shifts.

- All rewards for the most recent blocks will be recalculated once the shifts are created.
- All shares not in shifts will be counted as PPLNS.

This means that any current payment requests will be deleted and I will create a final payment for each of you. I will then move this data live and it can be reviewed before being paid.
