Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins

Yesterday I just lost 1.8k USD, maybe in USA or in West Europe that's doesn't much, but here in my shitty country that's a f* big amount of money. Here the minimum wage is ~ 300 USD / month. So that's like 6 month of work if I cut my bread and water and live on air. Half of my saving were other investments, but anyways... I'm feeling shitty right now. Oh, and I break my laptop. So yeah, that's another - 500 usd.

I though I can trade. Buy low, sell high. Sounds good, doesn't work.

Looking at the charts and candle sticks and watching old bitcoin values, and huge spikes (pump, I saw here how people uses the pump word, daaaamn...) I was... yeah, I can totally do that. I'll just buy when it's low, and sell it when it reaches the top. Well, I was wrong. You can't see the future, otherwise everyone would be a millionaire. That would be true if you would have a delorean from '85 with Emmett Brown and Marty Mcfly and you could f* travel in future and see the PUMPS!!!1

So anyone who will read this message (noobs like me) if you don't have any trading experience, don't do it. There are expert traders who know how this market works, when to buy and when to sell. Don't assume your skills by watching youtube videos and reading "daily indexes and predictions" of how the price will rise or go down by shitty sites. That's just dumb. You don't know what's gonna happen. Maybe a little bit of luck, or I don't know.

So yeah, from now on, I'll just leave the trading area for experts and I will invest in bitcoin by buying every 2 week or monthly and saving into my wallet. And one day (I hope so) the price will rise and I will buy for my self a delorean.

Trading really sucks sometimes during the dump period of the bitcoins because prices are falling continuously in digital market. People often panic at this time because it is a very hard time to go through it. Yes you are right I think trading is not like an easy task to do. It is not like that everyone will just come in and will start earning money by trading. Only the experts can do so and if you are not good at it, then it is better to hold your bitcoin instead of putting yourself in risk by going into trading.

I guess op does not have knowledge about trading. He just go there buy some coins and hold it then when he see the price goes down he panic selling. For beginners, I suggest that they must first know how to use statistical graphs like bollinger bands and after that research about the available cryptos, their history and their niche market.

No worry. In my opinion, Putting your money long-terms on the coin which had an evaluation for fundamental is always good choice than cashout.

yes it is very sucks if the price drops that we can do only to hold and wait for prices to rise again, to trade must have skill and strategy also read the market but it can all be an experience for you  and can fix the failure

Yeah the trading is very sucks because I experienced many times to lose my money. I regret the time that the coin that I hold is became 300% of its price after I sell my coins. I can say that I am now rich if I have a lot of patience.

That naturally happens, sometimes when you already sold your coin, the market price will suddenly go up. Also, sometimes when you need money or when you want to sell some coins, the market price will be on its lowest. I have lots of patience but I don't think my ways in trading or how I do trading is what really sucks.

I am continuously reading about trafing, hoping that I may come out with something that way I can help myself save money.

This is what this business is exactly. You never know what will be the prices in the very next moment. I think trading is the best possible option but for the person who knows the real trick of trading. Of you think you cannot end up well in case of trading, then holding is the most appropriate option.

You loose all this money simply because u jumped steps of learning, u should have done with low values, and if u loose that much money and u got this pissed(from your mistake) it means that u shouldnt do this size of trade. I utterly agree with you in this regard that trading is not for everyone. No one is capable of making big profits with trading until and unless he or she is not an expert or is not having sound knowledge of market including all important details of the coins they are trading with.

I understand if op wants it, the expertise and style of each trader is very different, if we do not dare speculate then it can hold as long as possible until the price becomes clear, it is tantamount to investing in gold assets. You are definitely right. I think if you are not making good in the world of trading, then there is no need of getting into it and losing your money. Holding is more preferable in that scenario. It is because of the reason that holding will give you a good amount of profit as well, but you need to have patience then.

I'm really sad. After I'm buying particular coin, after how many hours or days. It keep dumping. Since I started trading. Always loss. All my coins are negative. Almost 50% loss. I'm very sad guys, hoping you guys should study and keep reading.

There is every possibility you did not study the market before buying and you probably bought when the market was being pumped. It is sad to lose but it should be a learning experience. Most altcoins are totally good for being pumped and it is always a mistake to buy when it has been pumped to a very high level. Everyone who bought wants to drop fast for profit and FOMOs like you end up getting fried. Number 1 rule is never to be a FOMO if you want to play safe in trading except you are sure you still have a good standing based on previous market. Best is to buy below previous support level or at least at dips and study some few-days-back chart.

For me holding and trading are both effective ways in making profit out of your coins, play it wisely and you will earn plentifully. Absolutely, Lack of availability and how do you trade efficiently will come and etermine your edge in trading and if its still not enough just go back to basic while holding and starting few steps to learn. There is nothing funny about the fact that trading is not an easy task. Many experts often do get to face losses in trading because of one silly mistake. Indeed there are so many online resources but they can only give you knowledge not experience and trading is a practical activity, not a written test.

That's correct and if you invest in any altcoin blindly without doing any research then you will surely loose money in it so if you don't have any idea about altcoins the best thing would be to buy bitcoin and hold it till the price goes higher in future and sell when you are making good profits from it.

Agreed! Buying and investing in altcoins is something more risky. As far as trading is concerned, I think holding is a very good idea for the one who does not manage things well in trading. But if you want to hold altcoins, then I think you need to review your decision as you may suffer a loss later on.

Being patient is everything, and have the knowledge to buy BTC for the long term because it's supply is key. Play with 10-15% alts if you're feeling lucky.

Patience. That is always the key most especially for altcoins. I ihave held a coin for a month plus before after making a buy and it refused climbing up. As long as I am sure it isn't a dead coin and it has at least few support, I always leave them. Not all predictions are always right but this is actually safer than rushing to sell for losses.

Yeah , you are right anyone without a trading experience should not jump right into trading. I am also a noob to trading but I'm learning more and more everyday.
