Yesterday I just lost 1.8k USD, maybe in USA or in West Europe that's doesn't much, but here in my shitty country that's a f* big amount of money. Here the minimum wage is ~ 300 USD / month. So that's like 6 month of work if I cut my bread and water and live on air. Half of my saving were other investments, but anyways... I'm feeling shitty right now. Oh, and I break my laptop. So yeah, that's another - 500 usd.
I though I can trade. Buy low, sell high. Sounds good, doesn't work.
Looking at the charts and candle sticks and watching old bitcoin values, and huge spikes (pump, I saw here how people uses the pump word, daaaamn...) I was... yeah, I can totally do that. I'll just buy when it's low, and sell it when it reaches the top. Well, I was wrong. You can't see the future, otherwise everyone would be a millionaire. That would be true if you would have a delorean from '85 with Emmett Brown and Marty Mcfly and you could f* travel in future and see the PUMPS!!!1
So anyone who will read this message (noobs like me) if you don't have any trading experience, don't do it. There are expert traders who know how this market works, when to buy and when to sell. Don't assume your skills by watching youtube videos and reading "daily indexes and predictions" of how the price will rise or go down by shitty sites. That's just dumb. You don't know what's gonna happen. Maybe a little bit of luck, or I don't know.
So yeah, from now on, I'll just leave the trading area for experts and I will invest in bitcoin by buying every 2 week or monthly and saving into my wallet. And one day (I hope so) the price will rise and I will buy for my self a delorean.
Cheers!
Did you make out yet, OP? Hope you are still hold some BTC because it's price hit hard. BCH also a good chance to make back your loss.

Thanks for the advice, I hope this will serve as a lesson for those beginners who attempt to deal with trading. After reading your post, I realized that Trading is much riskier to what I thought because even you who already acquired some knowledge about it still fail to succeed. I think I have made the right choice for not yet engaging myself in trading and chose to just hold my bitcoins. (Actually I plan to do this since mining is not practical in our country because of high cost of electricity but I hesitate now because I might also fail in the end). My advice to you is study harder so that you won't fail again next time you deal with trading, always remember that "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger".

I sold enough to get back exactly what I invested originally. So even in the worst case scenario I can at least be satisfied that I didn’t lose any money from investing.

If you don't know anything in trading then you might just say that trading sucks because it is very difficult to make money in trading if you don't have any knowledge and you are like just roaming around in a trading site and just keep trading without precautions and you are just keep taking risk without knowing it and that results for you to tell that trading really sucks.
There is no risk in holding bitcoin as compared to get involved in trading. Trading is the one which is a good professional method of making money from digital currencies but as you have said, it is very risky if you don’t know well about coins. You should be really careful if you are investing into different projects because all projects appear very Entertaining in the beginning but alter on they put you in loss.

Well it is too late to give you any advise. At least you have understood your mistakes (the biggest one was to start trading) and you on't do it anymore. Now just try not to buy any shitcoins (100% sure that cryptoinvestment is not yours), do not store your BTC online and other simple rules.
Exactly it will serves as a lesson to you and that is also good because now you know on what you must and musnt do. Always be careful so that youll regret it in the end. That line of thought makes me think of a new possible upgrading. Yes, People do hate trading when the prices of their respective coins are decreasing continuously because here they cannot make some good profit or profit at all. The buyers they get are offering small amounts for their coins because of the decrease in market. Overall trading is a nice job where you do make good profit when the market prices of your coin are in your favor. When the prices are low, just keep holding coins.

What do you think about trading tools? If you are using some what tool is it? I personally most likely would use backtester. I have often male good decision, but have too less courage to risk higher amount, so my profit isn't big

In trading it takes knowledge of trading and should be able to read the market well, know when to buy and when to sell, I also experience bad trading and hold my coins in a long time, but that is normal in trading, keep patience and passion for trading
Experience and time will make you mature on trading some altcoins. Holding is the best option if you are decided to leave trading, you just have to invest your faith and time . But the op can also go back and continue what he left behind.

Don't worry we all get those crappy feelings. I could have been a crypto millionare by now if I hadn't been hacked, cheated by developers, and not bagheld coins that died to oblivion. I am playing with pennies all over again from almost scratch and one thing I say is don't give up. Good idea to just keep buying bitcoin and perhaps diversify in a couple of the bigger coins like ltc and eth, dash or whatever. I have hardly any btc, am heavy in 2-3 coins right now that might see a good upsurge early 2018, so am baking on those to come through and help me recover even a fraction of my losses. Also check out the marketplace section, for the btc and altcoin part of the forum. You can do jobs and earn crypto, like I do. I earn my living from doing this because I have no other income or job. That will also help you get ahead. Maybe better to do that, than risk your savings trading.

And then what would you do after hold that coins, probably you would sell it right?. It's called trading dude " Buy and sell coin for hoping the profit " You can't hold that coin forever, you need to sell that coin eventually or when you absolutely need that money for something.

Yes for those who do not have good skills in day trading should hold their coin for longer time. It is the best option rather than forcing yourself to gain profit from day trading but you do not know what to do. Actually if you are willing to take a bit risk then you may spend some of your coin to learn how to earn from day trading.

Trading does carry a high risk too especially in the crypto-currencies trading market, but one of the main reason that attracts a lot of investors trading in the crypto-currencies market is the huge volatility in it, this would allows some investor to gain huge profit in just a few weeks time of trading.

True, trading is a very difficult thing. Hard to identify what are the coins that have a great chance to pump and will increase it's price. Sometimes i need to hold my coin to avoid some losses.

Mostly it depends in 2 points.
1 Your trading experience, if you don´t have experience is better to buy and hold. If you have good experience you can trade well, an experienced trader is created at least with one year of experience, to get this experience without loosing money you can use demo accounts, they work good but you don´t have the physiological issue. On the other side you can use robots, they are some in the market that work quite well.
2 Other important factor is the time that you can dedicate to trade, you need to look the market every day, as you can not be 24h in front of the computer you should put automatic orders.
Then if you don´t have experience neither time, buy and hold or use a robot

Trading truly sucks, when the same is used without prior knowledge about the same. In particular people have good fiat backing to invest, but due to lack of knowledge invest on the wrong asset and expect profit in a short. This is truly impossible and they don't have patience to hold for a price increase. This leads to loss.
