So I've been involved in Bitcoin and crypto for about 5 months now and just about everyone I tell about it being friends and family most have never heard of it or the few that have they have no understanding of it so I was just curious into how others explain it all to total newcomers is their a webpage or video you may show for an easy understanding to explain it all ? Whenever I give my explanation it seems to go way over their head  Roll Eyes Cheers

Just explain to them that it is digital money and they are like gold that is also mined but through computer not mined physically. It has been existing for almost a decade and you can use it to purchase online as long as the seller accepts bitcoin. To be able to explain properly, show them your wallet and how you transact with it. If there is a store in your place that accepts bitcoin, you can go that place and maybe buy something using bitcoin for them to know that it is possible to use it to buy in physical stores.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

yes it's very difficult to explain bitcoin in beginner, many don't understand .. better explain simple and easy to understand ,, example ,, bitcoin is digital currency and price fluctuaktif, and in it we can sell and buy, buy cheap prices and sell when prices are high
We can tell bitcoin like that, thru trading. That is an explanation on how we can make money in bitcoin trading by buying low and selling it for a higher price than the price that we bought and we can also tell them that bitcoin is just like the common money that we use but it is more advanced because we can earn through it by just holding it for long term which the common money cannot do.

The easiest way to teach them is to show them what you are doing, for example in trading; show them a trading site and explain to them first what bitcoin is and what it could do then follow the explanation with what alternative coins are. Don't teach them all at once because for sure they won't understand it, teach them bitcoin like you are teaching a 5 year old kid.

I'll be saying them the things that my friend told me when he invited me to join and invest bitcoin. First, I'll be saying that he/she can earn money in this forum through joining various campaign signatures and from there, I'll be explaining the origin and nature of bitcoin. It is essential to explain that there are various ways of earning money without sacrificing too much of their time. But to explain bitcoin, I'll be saying that it is a cryptocurrency and just like gold, it only has a limited number of supply in the market and that factor determines its price.

I must agree that Bitcoin is difficult to explain due to its complexity. If I were to explain I would probably explain it on how I understand it. It's the easiest way to express myself clearly. After that, I'll stop there. Why? I would like to see how they react after my brief explanation Because not all are a fan of this type of industry. Most likely they will hesitate to go further and discuss more of this industry. As they already have in mind that this type of industry is a scam, that's a fact. People tend to reject opportunities without even trying or doing some background research on it. We always want to have and learn things instantly. Some people don't have time to do a simple research.

If ever that I've seen that they have a positive response to it and they're the one who engages to discuss further more about it, then it would be my pleasure to teach them what I know. BUT, I won't do spoon feeding. I want to them dig deeper and learn the complicated stuff on their own. Though, I'll still be guiding them by answering their questions.

Elaborate the financial benefits for everyone who knows and able to earn Bitcoin, is the best way to explain Bitcoin.

If someone continue to be interested, that would be the time to explain more.

At first I dont have an idea about bitcoin. But i try to educate myself in reading articles and doing some research and try to exchange ideas with other bitconers. So when a newcomer would ask me about bitcoin I can explain to them enough, with the language that is easy to understand because it is really a complex word, so I advice them to read more and educate their self more. But i dont want to spoon feed them Because I would like a newcomer to read more and really invest time with bitcoin.

But if  there's someone asking me and having a second thought about it And would often say it's a fraud or scam I just Ignore them because who knows I might me the next millioner!!! Thanks to bitcoin  Wink

Explaining bitcoin to someone who has zero knowledge about it is really hard. First try to explain what bitcoin means for example how we often describe it as a digital money then show them how to earn or what you can do with bitcoin. It is like encouraging them to use bitcoin because once they are interested they will be the one to research about it.

It's not easy for anyone to collaborate with a complete noob on the topic of Bitcoins, but there are better ways to attract them towards the subject by asking them to invest first and feel the difference between Bitcoins and fiat. Once the excitement arises, just start telling them that an experiment was conducted to check if some digital tokens may be sent to the other party anonymously or not, and people liked it, valued it and that's what is Bitcoin is all about - perfectness. After that, grab their attention with some ^new^ words for them such as blockchain, altcoins, ICOs, etc. and make them understand everything step by step.

When I'm explaining Bitcoin to a person that heard it the first time, I always tell him to do research about it. The meaning of Bitcoin, the origin and its purpose then I'll tell him to ask me if ever there are questions that he don't understands. I also tell him to avoid investment sites for the meantime because he doesn't fully understand it and there are lots of scam sites.
I think the most important thing is to take your time with potential invrstors and answer all of their questions as best as you can and reassure tem in their purchase.

What I tell people: it's basically internet 2.0, everything we know and use will be run on blockchain in the future. This internet of things which people always hype will be run on a blockchain. If you don't understand the really technical things behind it just tell them what the possibilities are with it.

yes. we must know the basic basics of blockchain first to be able to explain about bitcoin. because bitcoin is closely related to blockchain. Apart from that, there will still be things you must explain about how they are used.

I was introduced bitcoin or cryptocurrency to the new comer by explaining what it is and the used and benefits you can get from it. I actually started by inspiring them based on the experience of the member..It is more fun and very helpfull if they also know how bitcoin works.

Just tell them that there is that possibility to you will earn with it (sideline), tney themselves will look fod answers. There are a lot resources over the net, so it won't  be hard for tbem to look into it and try rl earn some bitcoins for themselves.Don't you worry because the price of Bitcoin is getting higher, so t:hey would be amazed how the price went up like that.

Most of the times when I explained Bitcoin to other people or with my friends about the good thing about it they just listen and listen but never go into it maybe because they are busy or didn't really see the potential of it but it is okay with me. They are just asking over and over again when Bitcoin's price is going up with a new mile, and I am sure that when Bitcoin reaches the $10,000 mark they will ask the same questions over again.

I first explain that our world is now on a era where the technologies is one of the game changer and the one we are going to use in the future and we should be learning the different kinds of technologies from computers, cellphones up to the currency and if they will ask what do i mean in currency then i will introduce bitcoin to them and why it is best to get into it while it is not too late and after that i will explain the simple things how bitcoin works and what are the benefits that we might get in having bitcoin.
I skip all the pain of discussing technology and its evolution, how it's changing everyone's life. It is sooo troublesome. I ask the guy questions like do you want to have a good future and try to tempt him. Human's are so predictable.

They do exactly what I want them to. Once, they have pictured themselves as KING (they do -_-), I reveal the way, Bitcoins. Simple.

I think most of it depends on whether people like bitcoin, whether or not they care about it.For me to explain to someone, I will explain the concept in the simplest way. And to convince them, I will give the results that I get when I work.

It might seem very tasking and confusing at first but with experience and carefully answering the inquisitive questions you should be able to explain very well to the newbie and clear doubts about it.

i just tell to them that it is a digital currency or digital money but the thing is the value of your money here can multiply because the value of the bitcoin increases but it depends on the market. Plus you can work here and earn bitcoin and also there are many ways here in order to earn bitcoin and i also told them that it's cool here because you can earn here without any hard work you just need enough knowledge.
