I can't control my temper when I have to deal with very stupid people. Generally I control it, at least I try very hard.

Hi! I am a newbie here. I quite struggle about holding my temper and i easily flare up whenever i lost my temper on someone or a certain situation. How do you guys manage yours and stay normal in the midst of pressure? I know it is not ok to just be carried away by our emotions easily specially when the result could be disastrous but what to do?

Mostly, i try to move myself out of the situation, once it happens i try my best to cool off. For starters i walk for a while, go to the gym sing a heavy metal song. After i clear my head i reassess the situation and try to solve the situation again.

It's very necessary to hold your temper, I nearly got into a fight yesterday, then I thought about the repercussions and penalties, what if I injure or kill him? Or he does same to me?
What would happen to my future, my dreams and goals.
More importantly my altcoins investment😍😍😍😍.
I quickly apologized, the guy was still flaunting strength.
Deep I know I know I would beat the hell out of him. But after that what next?

So in controlling your temper, think before yuh speak or act.
Thanks

To hold your temper just take a very deel breath and count till 25. Then do not speak for at least 15 seconds. Then you will feel more relaxed.

Holding my temper is quite a struggle for me. I easily get mad and offended because im sensitive.  But whenever i have to deal my temper i just kept quite somehow it makes me calm and atleast ease my anger. But there are time that i can't control my temper whenever someone triggers me. I always end up yelling at them and say things that is really harsh. This is the reason i always want to keep my distance to people.

If you feel like you are exploding in public, try to think that you are a professional and that it is shameful to just freak out because of your temper. Take a deep breath and have some fresh air.

If it is a person that's causing your anger, I suggest not talking to him/her for a while. Refuse contact by any means for a couple of minutes, if not hours. Do not say a word as we all know we humans tend to say a lot of hurtful words whenever we are angry and don't think whether our words will hurt someone permanently. I suggest walk away then engage yourself with something you enjoy like play a video game on your phone, have an outside walk, or eat some food. And then whenever you feel much relaxed, that's the time you can approach the situation and settle out things

Don't. Express it in other ways in a moment of heat, and find a hobby that releases the excess anger and stress. Lazer-tag?

I was not able to hold my temper but when I took BSE and now am i Professional Teacher. I understand how to hold my temper. First You should where did the situation come from. Why suddenly you brought yourself on that situation. Second is the person you are angry with is ysomething worth to fight for? Then when you do all of this you ask see for your self if you hold your temper or not.

Like a city that is broken down and without walls is a man whose spirit is without restraint - Proverbs. Try to meditate that will help.

In every situation, keeping calm is the most important issue. Keeping calm can help us solve the problem wisely. We must keep calm from the smallest things. I often train the children from the smallest things.

I usually go with a therapist twice a month, I have taken my stress conditions to relax from time to time or as they say "give me a taste" to buy something I want, eat something I want, with music, there are many ways to Try to control it, but it is best to talk to a psychologist or therapist

Many years ago I found it so difficult to hold my temper until recently I learnt a lot of life lessons that someone that cannot hold his temper is like a city without a wall. A still water runs deepest.

I used to have that but I would advice you to always take a deep breath when you are confroted with temper issues and always walk far away from the scene
