The user will first call approve(RAFFLE_ADDRESS, 20000000000000000000) on the XBL Contract Address. They have just approved the Raffle to spend 10 XBL (+18 zeroes) on their behalf. Shouldn't it be (RAFFLE_ADDRESS, 10000000000000000000)? Yes, thanks for noticing. I have modified the text. |

Sweet. Guide is pretty easy to understand, even for someone not experienced with using the Kovan Testnet or Ethereum platform. Looks like there is continual progress on this project. Glad to still be here with you all. Hoping for a successful test of the Become a Billionaire Raffle, which would then have it moved to Ethereum network.  Random joke: Forbes billionaire list is out and CEO and co-founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire on the list at age 25. Bet you his Mother doesn't tell him he's spending too much time on Facebook.  |

I think that this coin have HUGE possibility if raffle is success. Why? Because there is no huge cryptoworld lottery. After first big raffle winners this will skyrocket and even more and more people want to be part of weekly raffle. But when price go up 10 token might be too much to send raffle so can this be changed based on token price? Or are we going to send 10 -100 USD worth of token to take part of raffle. And cherry of the cake this token name is just too perfect to be top "lottery of the cryptoworld"

We have the first winners of the Alpha Testnet Raffle! There have been a total of 501 tokens sent to the Burner and 250 tokens burned by the Raffle itself:  We are implementing some small updates before re-deploying again to the Kovan Testnet. We will have a direct link on our website to the Graphical Interface for the Raffle, as well as a user manual.  This is just a rough sketch of the GUI, the final version will be free of grammar errors |

Thanks for the update, anything else to look forward to this weekend? Tomorrow we will probably be updating the Raffle and Burner source codes on GitHub, we begin the final stages of testing and coding before deployment. How was the original test raffle on koban? Was that already done? I'm looking forward to seeing more progress for live raffle. Also, code updates to GitHub means active development and the devs are here to stay. What other projects has this much activity?!? Especially with this supply. |

One thing to think about is: I have said before, if the EOS blockchain delivers what is promised: A superior platform, faster, better, stronger than Ethereum and everything else that is available today, then we will most likely become the first decentralized gaming platform running on the EOS network. A member of our team has already started learning EOS decentralized application development. We also have many more games waiting to be announced - so stay tuned for these, they will be entertaining to say the least.
It's about time you ditch Ethereum and its silly Proof of Work consensus. That stupid chain can't handle more than 30 transactions per second, being blocks found every 5 minutes... It won't scale no matter what for AT LEAST 3~5 years, NO WAY a massive multiplayer gaming platform can run under that crap. I would be very interested in increasing my exposure to your token if this shift to EOS were to happen! Very good news, keep it up! |
